After returning to winning ways in Greece on Tuesday, Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Brazilian top flight once again, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection.

Two clubs separated only by three points in the Brasileirão table meet at the Estádio Beira-Rio tomorrow evening as resurgent Internacional plays host to 12th-placed Juventude in a fixture that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
Roger Machado’s hosts have scored 16 goals across their opening 17 matches in the Brasileirão this campaign, with nine (65%) of them coming on home soil.
The Reds have found the back of the net in all bar one of their opening eight league contests in front of their supporters – including in each of their previous five – and will look to continue that run against a Juventude defence that is yet to record a clean sheet on their travels this season, shipping multiple goals in six of their last eight.
Juventude have scored 24 goals across their opening 20 matches in the Brazilian top flight this term, with seven (29%) of them coming on their travels.
The Verdão have found the back of the net in 17/20 (75%) of their league outings – including in 7/9 (78%) of them on their travels – and will look to breach an Internacional defence that has kept just two clean sheets at home in the league this season and none in their last four, shipping multiple goals in three (75%) of those.

Juventude’s opening 20 matches in the Brazilian top flight are averaging 2.55 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in 13 (65%) of them.
Those numbers creep up on their travels, with their opening nine road trips averaging 2.89 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score paying out in seven (78%) of them – and given the same has landed in 6/8 (75%) of Internacional’s league contests on home soil, including each of their last four – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides finding the target in Porto Alegre tomorrow evening.
