The fifth round of the FA Cup draws to a close with two ties live on TV tonight. KevMac takes a look.
Wolves v Southampton
THE FA Cup action continues tonight with Southampton’s trip to Wolves the pick of the ties.
Saints knocked holders Arsenal out in the last round but their form has been dismal since then, losing four in a row.
The last two games have been particularly disappointing, crashing 9-0 at Old Trafford before losing 3-2 to nine-man Newcastle.
So you have to fancy Wolves at 13/10 for a win with McBookie although it may be safer to back them to qualify instead at 4/6.
The goals have dried up for the Molineux men without Raul Jimenez, netting just three in their last five.
So I fancy under 2.5 goals here at 8/11 with McBookie while betting against BTTS pays 10/11.
Barnsley v Chelsea
Chelsea head to Championship side Barnsley looking to continue their impressive start under Thomas Tuchel.
There’s little value in a Chelsea win at 3/10 with McBookie but doubling it with a clean sheet boosts the odds to 6/5.
That’s well worth a punt as the Blues have shut out their rivals in three of Tuchel’s four games in charge.
Athletic Bilbao v Levante
There’s also cup action in Spain tonight as Athletic Bilbao host Levante.
The Basques have been KO kings of late, beating Real Madrid and Barcelona to land the Super Cup, so look decent value at 19/20 (SBK) for a win.
Super Singles
- Chelsea win to nil (6/5, McBookie)
- Bilbao to win (19/20, SBK)
McBookie Star Bet
- The half-time score has been level in Wolves’ last four and a repeat tonight pays 21/20.
