FC Nordsjaelland vs FC Midtjylland (Sunday, 15:00)
FC Nordsjaelland and FC Midtjylland will face off in the Danish Superliga at Farum Park on Sunday afternoon.
Jens Olsen’s hosts will be targeting a third league win on the spin after beating Odense 2-1 before the international break.
That victory means both teams have scored in five of Nordsjaelland’s opening seven Danish top-flight matches of the season.
Now up against Midtjylland, that theme looks like one to follow again in North Zealand this weekend.
While the visitors have yet to taste defeat this season, they have been involved in a number of high-scoring contests.
In fact, both teams have also hit the back of the net in five of Midtjylland’s seven league games this season, so all the signs point towards a repeat on Sunday.
Sirius vs GAIS (Sunday, 15:30)
Two teams at opposite ends of the Swedish Allsvenskan table square off on Sunday afternoon, as Sirius go up against GAIS.
The home team went into the international break occupying 12th place in the table following a 2-1 defeat away at AIK Stockholm.
As for GAIS, they are up in 5th spot after claiming a 2-1 win over Hacken last time out.
While Sirius are looking over their shoulder towards the drop zone, they have been one of the great entertainers in the Swedish top-flight this term.
That is evidenced by the fact that BTTS has landed in 17 of the hosts’ opening 22 league games of the season.
Look for that trend to continue when Sirius square off with a GAIS side that have delivered a winning both teams to score selection in seven of their 11 league games away from home this term.
Brest vs Paris FC (Sunday, 16:15)
Brest will be targeting their first Ligue 1 win of the season when they play host to Paris FC on Sunday afternoon.
Eric Roy’s hosts started the season with a frantic 3-3 draw with Lille and they have since lost to both Toulouse and Lens.
That return of just one point from a possible nine has left the Pirates sitting second from bottom in the Ligue 1 table.
Meanwhile, newly-promoted Paris FC started their campaign with two losses before picking up their first win of the season against Metz on matchday three.
Both teams have got on the scoresheet in each of the capital club’s last two matches, and that sequence could continue at the Stade Francis-Le Ble.
Brest have also been BTTS in two of their three league matches this season, including their one and only previous home game so far.
