The quarter-finals of Euro 2024 will continue today with two matches on the apparent ‘easy' side of the draw. England will face Switzerland in Dusseldorf before the Netherlands take on Turkey in Berlin.
On paper, comfortable victories for England and the Netherlands should be expected, but this has been a tournament where the ‘big' teams have struggled and the minnows have flourished.
Switzerland come into the quarter-finals as arguably the most in-form team in the competition alongside Spain. They dismantled the reigning champions, Italy, with ease in the Round of 16 and will be looking forward to taking on a disjointed England side.
Turkey, meanwhile, have finally lived up to their billing as ‘dark horses'. Their win over Austria in the last round was impressive and they will fancy their chances against a Dutch side that have leaked goals at Euro 2024.

If reports are to be believed, then England are going to be switching formation for the clash with Switzerland but given the personnel will largely stay the same, it's difficult to see them suddenly becoming a cohesive unit.
England have failed to score more than one goal inside 90 minutes in any of their four matches at Euro 2024 and they have hardly been playing elite opposition. Switzerland are their toughest test yet so improving on that record feels unlikely.
Switzerland have been solid throughout the tournament and their performances against Germany and Italy were particularly impressive. However, they aren't overly expansive and only one of their four matches at Euro 2024 have seen more than two goals scored.

The Netherlands have been quietly going about their business at Euro 2024 and despite finishing third in their group, they have been given a very favourable route through the knockout stages.
They played well against Romania in the round of 16, winning 3-0, with Cody Gakpo shining once again on the left wing. The Liverpool forward has scored three goals at the tournament, helping the Netherlands to seven goals in four matches.
Turkey, meanwhile, have also been among the goals at the Euro 2024 and have netted seven times like their opponents. Additionally, only one of their four matches hasn't covered the both teams to score market.
