The Eberechi Eze next club odds suggest that the Crystal Palace man may still be on the move on deadline day despite rumours about his future dying down in recent weeks.
It's easy to understand why there has been so much interest in Eze. He has been one of Crystal Palace's standout players for a couple of seasons now and he ended last season with eleven goals and six assists despite playing in a struggling side for much of the campaign.
While Cyrstal Palace are keen to keep hold of the 25-year-old, particularly as they look to be building towards something under Oliver Glasner, a large bid from a team competing in the Champions League would be difficult for them to turn down.
Eze hasn't come out and said whether he wants to leave the club or not but he's a player that looks ready to play at the very top so a move away from Selhurst Park would likely interest him. Here is a list of his most likely destinations, according to the betting market.
Eberechi Eze next club odds: Spurs lead the way
Tottenham – 6/1
The links between Tottenham and Eze have been ongoing for a while but in recent days, reports have circulated that Crystal Palace are bracing themselves for a deadline day offer from Tottenham for the playmaker. While it is considered ‘unlikely' to transpire, Spurs are said to be keen on at least testing the waters.
Spurs could do with Eze's ability to beat players one-on-one while his creativity would certainly help, too. How he fits into a midfield with James Maddison, though, is something only Ange Postecoglou will be able to answer.
Arsenal – 12/1
Arsenal are considered joint-second favourites to sign Eze this summer and it wouldn't be the first time that the club have pipped Spurs to a big signing so it shouldn't be ruled out, even at this late stae.
The signing of Mikel Merino makes a move less likely but there is no doubting that the prospect of Eze playing with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard is an exciting one.
Liverpool – 12/1
Liverpool spent heavily on midfielders last summer, bringing in Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, and Wataru Endo. They spent much of this summer chasing another midfielder, Martin Zubimendi, but the Spaniard turned them down, leaving them short in the engine room.
Eze would be a statement signing to kick-start the Arne Slot era and after Szoboszlai flattered to deceive for much of last season, a new number eight may well be considered imperative at Anfield. Can they make it happen on deadline day?
Man City – 12/1
Man City have reportedly long been admirers of Eze and they have weighed up a move for him each of the last two seasons. They aren't typically the type of club to get involved on deadline day and with Ilkay Gundogan returning to the club, there is likely no room in the squad for him anyway.
