Best French Open Bets Today
It’s quarter-final time in Paris, and there are some cracking match ups on display on day 10 of the French Open! Here are the bets we suggest making:
Sinner to Beat Dimitrov 3-0 @ 5/4
Jannik Sinner comes into his match up with Grigor Dimitrov owning a 3-1 head-to-head against the Bulgarian. Most recently, they met in the Miami Masters final just two months ago. The Italian blew him away, dropping just four games.
We expect Dimitrov to put up a slightly better fight this time, but not by much. It’s not the veteran’s favourite surface by any stretch of the imagination, while Sinner has been nothing but clinical this French Open. This should be a routine victory as Sinner gets through to the semi-final we’ve all been waiting for against Carlos Alcaraz in the bottom half of the draw.
Jabeur +4.5 Handicap vs Gauff @ 11/10
Another player who has been racing through the French Open draw is America’s Coco Gauff. The 20-year-old has spent about the amount of time it takes to play a decent five-set match so far this Roland-Garros. She’s won each of her four matches in straight sets without ever looking challenging.
Jabeur will be her toughest opponent yet, and we expect she’ll get much closer to Gauff than anyone has so far in Paris. The Tunisian plays well on clay, and should push Gauff to at least two tight sets, if not take this one to a decider.
Swiatek vs Vondrousova Under 17.5 Games @ 1/1
We’ve had some Polish baking on display over the last 10 days, and this quarter-final could well deliver a few more bagels and breadsticks. Swiatek, after surviving a major scare in the second round when she saved a match point against Naomi Osaka, has been untouchable. Literally, last round she won 6-0, 6-0 in 40 minutes flat.
Vondrousova is no mug, with a Grand Slam title to her name in the last 12 months. However, she’s had to fight so far in Paris, and think she just simply won’t match up against Swiatek. Even if the score line is a respectable 6-2, 6-3 this bet will come through, and it could be much worse than that we suspect.
