The latest UEFA Conference League outright winner odds indicate that this year's edition of the tournament will be more even than last year's.
Chelsea won the 2025 edition of the Conference League with relative ease, but with the Blues back in the Champions League this year, they won't get the opportunity to defend their crown.
After the league phase draw at the end of August, the outright odds for the tournament have been set. Let's take a look.
Best Conference League outright winner odds
Crystal Palace – 5/1
Crystal Palace are the narrow favourites to win the Conference League at 5/1, and considering the Premier League has already produced two winners of the competition, it's hard to argue against this.
The Eagles weren't exactly emphatic in their playoff victory over Fredrikstad, and after losing their best player, Eberechi Eze, they are arguably weaker than they were last season.
It's also important to remember that Palace didn't qualify for the competition via their league performance, but rather by winning the FA Cup.
Fiorentina – 11/2
Fiorentina are overdue a Europa Conference League triumph, and they will wonder how they haven't yet had their hands on the trophy.
Over the last three seasons, the Italian side have been the losing finalist twice in 2023 and 2024, and reached the semi-finals again last season.
Fiorentina are expected to challenge for the cup again this season, and given their experience in the competition, they should perhaps be considered the favourites over Crystal Palace.
Rayo Vallecano – 9/1
Rayo Vallecano had an excellent La Liga campaign last season, beating Osasuna to the final European spot in the league table.
This season marks their first venture into Europe since the 2000/01 UEFA Cup, so there will be plenty of excitement in the air, particularly when they play at home.
We won't know too much about their chances until the knockout stages of the competition, but for now, 9/1 feels about right when you balance their quality with a lack of experience.
Mainz – 10/1
Mainz are also Europa Conference League newcomers, after finishing sixth in the Bundesliga last season. For a while, it looked like they were going to finish even higher, but a poor end to the season means they have to ‘settle' for a place in the third tier of European football.
While they have never made it through to the knockout stages of a European competition before, the Europa Conference League offers them a fresh opportunity, and their current squad certainly has the quality to go deep.
Their league phase draw looks favourable, which gives them an excellent chance of qualifying in one of the top positions.
Our prediction
Although the bookies believe Crystal Palace are the favourites, we can't look beyond Fiorentina this season. The Italians have played more matches in this competition than any other team, and it's a mystery how they haven't won the trophy yet.
