It may only be the beginning of July, but the UEFA Champions League will begin this week with the first round of qualifying.
While the big boys won't enter until much later in the competition, there are plenty of familiar names set to play this week as the long journey to the league phase kicks off.
Ahead of the first lot of fixtures on Tuesday, 8 July, check out our Champions League accumulator tips for the week below.
Champions League accumulator tips: First qualifying round
FCSB to beat Inter Escaldes (-3 handicap) (6/5)
One of the biggest mismatches in the first round of Champions League qualifying this year is the clash between FCSB and Inter Escaldes.
For starters, the history of the two clubs in the Champions League couldn't be further apart. FCSB are previous winners of the competition, while Andorran side, Inter Escaldes, have never made it past the first round of qualifying.
This time last year, FCSB faced a side of similar stature, AC Virtus from San Marino. They beat them 11-1 on aggregate and recorded a 4-0 win at home.
Shelbourne vs Linfield under 2.5 goals (4/6)
The most interesting clash in the first round of Champions League qualifying is between Shelbourne and Linfield. The match puts together the League of Ireland Premier Division champions and the Northern Ireland Premiership champions.
On paper, there isn't an awful lot between the two teams, and they both play at a similar level in terms of regular opposition, so it's hard to call a winner. However, what she shouldn't expect in this match is goals.
Neither of those teams are known for being prolific. Instead, their success is built on strong foundations at the back, with both sides boasting the best defensive records in their respective leagues last season.
Three of Shelbourne's last five competitive matches have produced fewer than three goals, while the same can be said for three of Linfield's last four.
Malmo to beat Iberia 1999 (1/2)
Malmo are one of the most successful teams in the first round of qualifying this year, in terms of how often they have made it to the proper version of the Champions League.
Iberia 1999, on the other hand, have never made it past the second round of qualifying so getting odds of 1/2 on Malmo to be victorious this week feels like a little bit of a steal.
While historical performance in the Champions League won't matter a huge amount, it's not like anything else is in Iberia 1999's favour. Malmo are currently in the thick of their domestic season, while Iberia are only just back for pre-season.
