FOLLOWING the success of our match previews during the World Cup I'm looking to add more big-match tips on to the site and if you'd like to get involved read on.

Regular tipsters, @gregbrowning, @hullshaker, @selectabet and @scott-allot led the way during the World Cup by writing up posts for each of the 64 matches in Russia, providing some informative insight and inspirational tips, and I want to keep that level of content going by continuing to publish match previews for all the big matches in the 2018-19 season.

That's where you come in:

  • Could you write an informative and insightful 250-500 word preview about a football match?
  • Do you have a favourite team or competition you'd like to write previews for all season?
  • Can you find those winning betting angles others can't see?
  • Would you like a free lifetime Gold Membership at MrFixitsTips?

If the answer to all these questions is yes then you could join our Tipster Team.

What's in it for you?

  • You'll get the chance to have your tips published as a post on one of the best betting sites on the internet
  • You'll be able to interact with other members of our community who can submit comments about your post
  • If accepted on to our Tipster Team you'll receive a free lifetime Gold Membership here at MrFixitsTips
  • The author of the most-viewed post each month will receive a £25 free bet
  • If you're really good you could be invited to become one of our paid tipsters at MrFixitsTips with a regular slot on the site

There are a few basic requirements we'd need from your end; such as English being your first language and a decent grasp of spelling and grammar. Your posts also need to be your own work and any stats you quote must be accurate.

How to get involved

To join the Tipster Team please send me a sample match betting preview to [email protected]

It can be for any match, past or present.

For some inspiration check out some of the World Cup match previews, such as this one by @gregbrowning http://mrfixitstips.co.uk/france-v-croatia-betting-preview-a-step-too-far-for-plucky-underdogs/

I just need to know you can write in good, clean English and I won't have to do much editing to your posts ;)

If all goes well, Admin will get you set up as an Author on the site, send you some editorial guidelines, and instructions on how to get started.

Get stuck in!

I’d be happy to throw my hat in the ring. I’ve enjoyed being part of this community for I think 3 years now and I think in that time, I’ve only failed to give a pre-match preview of my beloved Derby on five or six matches over that time.
Sometimes my stats are a shade off but I can work on that and I need to check my grammar. I do read it back but often I spot schoolboy errors after I’ve posted and I can’t edit my own posts.
I try to keep a level head when posting up stuff about my own team but I’m realistic. If there’s something I don’t like the look of, I do try to steer people away from certain bets.
You know the standard of my posts and whether I’m accepted officially or not, i’ll always do my bit. I’ve become a bit OCD about contributing. I guess I feel duty bound, but it’s not a chore, I enjoy it.

MILLWALL V MIDDLESBROUGH AT THE DEN

The new football season arrives after a good World Cup and plenty of transfer activity.

Millwall entertain Middlesbrough at the Den on Saturday 4th August with a 3-00 pm kick off.

Millwall boss Neil Harris has stated he wants the ground to be more intimidating and uncomfortable for visiting fans and this year they celebrate 25 years in their stadium.
The teams have met on 53 occasions in the past of which Middlesbrough have won 23, Millwall 19 and 11 have been drawn. It is interesting to note the last three encounters have all gone to the home team.
Team news for Millwall is that all three summer signings Murray Wallace,Ben Amos and Jiri Shalak are all expected to feature at some time during the games. They have no new injury worries.
Team news at Middlesbrough is that new signing Paddy McNair will not make it along with Daniel Ayala and Rudi Gusted also likely to be missing.
Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulls say this will be one of the toughest away games the club will face all season and not a one he would have chosen to start the new season with. They reached the Play offs last season falling to Aston Villa in a two leg semi Final, Pulls will want to go one better this year and get back to the Promised Land of the Premiership.
The transfer window will define a lot of what goes down in Middlesbrough with star man from last season Adama Traore subject to transfer speculation from Wolves as there is a release clause in his contract. Club Captain Ben Gibson is also a transfer target for Burnley and whether he plays tomorrow is obviously doubtful. Up front there is talk of Britt Assombalonga being the target of many Championship clubs.Scoring goals was the main problem with Middlesbrough last season and this season may be the same if no new faces are brought in up front.

In summary I feel that this will be avery tight game with few goals with the home side Millwall having the upper hand,
With this being the first game of the season I would advise low stakes on the following

MILLWALL TO BEAT MIDDLESBROUGH TO NIL 7/2 188BET

MILLWALL V MIDDLESBROUGH UNDER 2.5 GOALS 8/13 SPORTING BET

I’ve followed Mr. Fixit and this site from the start and seen it grow and grow. It is easily the best site about and also keeps the fun in gambling. A fantastic community and this is another example of what it does to involve all. I’m not a regular poster but follow every day but think I’ll give this a bash as feel I could contribute

Used to post quite a lot in here but haven’t done so recently but still scour the site as there’s some great tipsters on here. I’ve started a Facebook page which delves into my views from a betting perspective. I’d love the opportunity to do some write ups. Wolves season ticket holder and I’m always scouring oddschecker for great value bets.

So league division 2 kick off last Saturday and after Lincoln 1-0 away to Northampton there were soon installed as 5/1 favs with bet 365 but despite coming away with 3 points they had been played off the park with Lincoln manager Danny cowley admitting afterwards that Northampton were well above them in standard of play and the Lincoln keeper being outstanding and unbeatable and up front Matt green had one chance and took it so the points went to Lincoln
This Saturday Lincoln are at home to Swindon and the 3 Pts should stay at home last Saturday Swindon were losing 1-2 at home but were awarded 2 penities in the 96th and 98th minute lincoln are a better team at home and for those who don’t know every time Lincoln get a corner the air siren goes off ,therefore Lincoln at 19/20 bet 365 will start our accumulator, the second leg is the team that played Lincoln off the park Northampton town 2/1 bet 365 to win at Carlisle who season started with a 3-1 loss to Exeter and the 3rd leg is Mansfield to win away at Yeovil at 21/20 bet 365 I think Yeovil will find this a season to far and will be joined by Grimsby who after one game seem to being pulled into the relegation net ,Grimsby are 5/1 to be relegated and seem a very despondent club for a while now .Two tips for the season to consider tom pope port vale 12/1 bet 365 top goal scorer
Northampton town to win the league 20/1
    Saturdays accumulate
    Lincoln 19/20 bet365
    Northampton 2/1 bet 365
    Mansfield 21/20 bet 365
Shade under 11/1 for the treble
