Getafe v Eibar
La Liga. Kick-Off: 7.15pm Friday August 24th. Live on Eleven Sports
TWO similar sides clash at the grandly-named Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Friday night.
There is not much to choose between the two, both have lost their opening games in La Liga, both have tight mid-fields and both struggle to score goals.
Bordalas and Mendilibar appear to be of a similar mindset when it comes to strategy, safety-first tactics with little interest in entertaining the fans.
Despite struggling to separate the two sides if we look solely at the stats and the odds Eibar have won 6 away and I think we can assume they will be happy with a draw here, and while the 5/6 price of an Eibar win or draw is pretty tempting there is a very real chance Getafe could capitalise on the home factor and nick a win.
On paper this doesn't look an exciting match up with goals galore, it will probably be a borefest with lots of time added after the 90.
Therefore in conclusion the 19/10 that we can get in the under 1.5 goals market is the value call. I normally wouldn't touch this market with a bargepole but I think this counters the uncertainty in the match odds market and if you back on Betfair it opens up some great trading opportunities.
Personally I will be trading out at half-time if the match is 0-0 after the 45 minutes. However, I still think it's worth having a punt as a straight bet.
