EVERY Saturday William Hill's Owen Scott and McBookie's Paul Petrie will do battle in the junior football challenge.
The dynamic duo will be putting up trebles every weekend and Owen has the bragging rights having won £49 with Paul still to get off the mark.
For those who don't know anything about junior football the level of the top clubs is equivalent or in some cases better than Scottish League 2 outfits and we can gauge that easier now with the champions of the three regions – North, East and West – qualifying to play in the William Hill Scottish Cup along with the Junior Cup winners.
The term “junior” has nothing to do with players' ages and it often confuses people outside Scotland. Some of the top clubs such as Auchinleck, Hurlford, Irvine Meadow and Linlithgow pay bigger wages than most League 1 and League 2 teams and therefore attract players who could be plying their trade at a higher level.
McBookie list all games online and take bets on every junior match while William Hill only take bets in shops.
Here are this weekend's tips from Paul and Owen.
Paul writes: “In the West region I am backing Troon to beat Largs at 4-7. They will be smarting from their cup final defeat last weekend and will be eager to get another cup run under their belt. Largs have started the season well but their focus will be on promotion this year and I don’t think they will be too worried if they face an early cup exit.
“In the North I am going for East End to beat Parkvale at 23-20. East End have been well backed to win the league and have won all five games. This is a big test for their title credentials but I am confident they can step up to the mark.
“Finally, in the East I am going for Bathgate to beat Arniston at 5-4. They have hit a rich vein of form and are now just 14-1 for the title having been as big as 40-1 a few weeks ago. A title challenge might still be a big ask but we will know more after this game.”

Owen writes: “Back to normal last week as one side let my treble down. After Parent's Night at school for my kids this week where they received glowing reports my own report card would read “Must do Better”.
“This week local cups take up the majority of the card in all regions and there are many short-priced favourites on show.
“I'm going to start with a match that could probably go either way but because this team won for me last weekend I'm going to give them another shot and that's Pollok at 7-5 away to Irvine Meadow. These sides have already drawn a match at Meadow Park this season in the Super League but I reckon Pollok can get the win this week and progress in the West of Scotland Cup.
“Girvan (11-8) at home to Thorniewood is another tight match this week but I'm on the home side to get the victory. Both sides have started well in their respective divisions but it's the home side for me to progress.
“I'm heading East to complete my treble and taking Whitburn at 13-8 at home to Tranent. Tranent are in pole position and are favourites to win the league but I reckon Whitburn can take the cup game as Tranent focus on the title.”
