Hull City will attempt to crash the promotion playoff places as they travel to troubled Plymouth Argyle in the Championship season finale on Saturday. Plymouth have been poor lately, even at home and should find things difficult against Hull, who have shown some good form in their recent travels.
It has been a difficult campaign for Plymouth Argyle, who have spent most of their time wallowing dangerously close to the relegation zone. They are just one point above the bottom three and a win on Saturday will secure their survival for another season.
While the task for Plymouth Argyle ahead of Saturday’s clash is clear, their recent form suggests things may be a bit tricky. Neil Dewsnip's men have lost their last two fixtures, falling 3-0 at Stoke City before suffering a 1-0 defeat at Millwall last time out.
Plymouth Argyle have also struggled to find their best form at Home Park where they have claimed just one win from their last eight matches. They have suffered five defeats in that run, although their only win came in their previous fixture in front of their fans.

Hull City have done some good work on their recent travels, with just one defeat from their last nine away matches. Liam Rosenior’s men have picked up six wins in that run, including a 3-2 victory at Coventry City in their previous fixture on the road.

Plymouth Argyle and Hull City have claimed eight wins each and six draws from 22 previous matches. Both teams battled to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture back in September, although Hull had won the previous three meetings.

Morgan Whittaker has been the shining light in a disappointing campaign for Plymouth Argyle, scoring 19 Championship goals this season. The forward could be worth keeping an eye on to score anytime on Saturday at 41/20 with Unibet.
