THE Swiss Indoors quarter-finals serves up a potential humdinger today with Marin Cilic taking on Rafa Nadal.
Cilic has been in good form recently, winning a title in Moscow and not dropping a serve in his last five matches although the opposition wasn’t exactly top quality. Nadal is no longer the force he was but has at least steadied the ship after a season of struggle.
The fast indoor courts are suited to Cilic’s game and I reckon he can bag the win at 39-29 with Marathonbet against Unibet’s 10-13 favourite.
The rest of the last-eight action isn’t bad either – Richard Gasquet against serving behemoth Ivo Karlovic, Roger Federer v David Goffin and Jack Jack taking on fellow Yank Donald Young.
The group stage at the WTA Finals rounds off with Garbine Muguruza needing just a set against Petra Kvitova to reach the semis and Angelique Kerber also looking to progress for the first time.
