WHEN we launched the new site we stressed it was all about adding features and contests and in general making it more user friendly.

As you see all the tips we used to provide remain free but we aim to give Silver and Gold members value for money and over the next few weeks and months there will be regular promotions and prize giveaways.

Already we've added the btts and win contest for subscribers only and there is a Betting Club and Bet of the Day feature among others. We hope also to do a Xmas cash giveaway to one lucky member in a fun contest.

Something I've been keen on is to get fans to post their own club's team news and predict the result. This worked well this week when for example micky belfast tipped up Cliftonville to win, Andrezj went for Poland and Milik to score and the Bradford fan I know advised me to take his side to win to nil against Aldershot.

Most dedicated supporters know who their team is missing and how much of a loss that player will be. All of us can access the stats and see the form but finding up-to-date team news is more difficult and takes time.

Derby fan Nathan Ufton is one who does and his match previews are excellent – he's also posting some interesting reads on the forum including his bank builder attempt.

What we need is lots of Nathans every week in our attempt to beat the bookies.

The Your Team, Your Call topic will be under competitions on the forum and we'll give away a £10 free bet to one person who correctly predicts his team's score after providing team news. Quote odds for a better chance to win – I won't always pick the best odds but sometimes I will. On a restricted card last weekend there were no winners.

And if that team plays in Scotland please quote Ladbrokes odds and we'll add two tickets to an SPFL game (subject to availability) courtesy of league sponsors Ladbrokes.

If you're not a member comment here if you like but you want be entered for the contest.

As most people know my team is Clydebank – and my prediction for last weekend's West of Scotland Cup tie against Whitletts was match postponed – waterlogged pitch. That was spot on and Saturday's big Scottish Junior Cup tie against East champions Kelty Hearts will need the weather to improve to have a chance.

Anyway let's hear your thoughts and prediction on your team – and if you post on the forum you'll be in with a chance of a free bet and match tickets.

    Saturday Falkirk 5 /4 (Ladbrokes)
    Falkirk ht/ft 13/5 (Ladbrokes)
Falkirk team goals over 1.5 21/20 (Ladbrokes)
    over 2.5 13/4 (Ladbrokes)

Away to queen of south, Falkirk are playing extremely well and have scored 15 goals in there last 4 games victories. No injury worries

torquay United in disarray, our leading scorer James Hurst loaned out to Guiseley after being arrested for lamping someone in torquay town centre weekend before last, other striker marsh suspended for pushing our own player and central defender Smith all on three game ban.
added to that the form of Lincoln striker matt rhead I can only see an away win on Saturday, possibly with him to score as next best

The only fan this doesn’t apply to is me – the amount of times ive backed is to get beat and we’ve won is incredible ( especially in Europe)

We travel to Dundee United on Saturday, a team who we have humiliated over the last couple of seasons! Sir Tommy Wright has an incredible record over United when McNamara was in charge and as I often said to United fans, we own them at the moment!

Big Mixu put a line on is now in charge and hadnt exactly set the heather alight, to be fair to him, it’s as poor a United side I can remember, that’s said, they are at home and despite us being one of the form teams in the country, we are not going to win every week, we have depth in the squad which dowant make the loss of striker Cummings as bad! The big lad has netted 6 times but he 8 assists to his name! I wouldn’t back us to win at 6/5, I don’t think United will lose, a draw is probably in with a shout!

Rangers should be full strength on Saturday and the only change may be at centre half although Danny Wilson doesn’t deserve a start but if he does as Greg tipped them the other night Livi to score might be a decent bet. There is a bit more value this week in terms of team goals as for the past 6 weeks Rangers have been around evens to score 4. Away from home this season we have scored 31 goals away from home so I would suggest Rangers to score 4 or more at 5/2 or Rangers to win 4-1 at 14-1 both with bet 365. Previous games against Livi haven’t been great with 1-0 and 3-0 wins this season although I’d expect a good performance on Saturday now that Hibs are challenging.

    Rangers to win 4-1 14/1.

nb89, the break has probably helped Gers while Livi played on Tuesday.
Should win easily and it’s good to see a title fight – it’s boring when it’s a one-horse race.

Yeah the break would have done them good and although I still think we’ll win the league by 10+ points but it’s important we keep winning until we play Hibs again on the 28th of December.

Woking at Chester this weekend – surely an over 2.5 tip

Watching the cards last Saturday, they shipped five to Macclesfield in a 5-2 loss and head to Chester, where they beat them 5-2 earlier this season. The cards gaffer after their FA Cup exit last month put out the squad on the transfer market in a bid to try and motivate the players to buck up their ideas. By bringing in loan players, the side have not gelled as Garry Hill expected, but must persist with their absence of their key player Scott Rendell, so over 2.5 is a credible call.

Will try and put together a more comprehensive view early Saturday but some brief news ahead of Bury’s home clssh with Burton Albion.

Young Matty Fouldes has been snapped up by Everton so look out for him over the next year.

We have Joseph Doodoo on loan from Leicster and he’ll strengthen the attack with Clarke and Pope up top…great bit of business.

Not team news but worth a mention, Paddy Kenny has torn his calf in training and rather than claim the money whilst recovering during his loan period, he has cancelled his own contract and will rehabilitate at Bury without pay…top man Paddy.

HullShaker, cheers – early news up here suggests Livingston are struggling for bodies v Rangers.

Like nurses and taxes, there are some certainties in life…add to that list the fact Bury will score and concede in practically any given game.

Over 2.5 match goals looks way to big at 21/20 and for me that’s a great early shout for Saturday’s NAP.

Hibs are obviously flying ATM and putting up a real fight for the title. James keatings has scored 5 goals in 2 games. Aswell as Cummings scoring 8 games in a row before firing a blank against livi during the week..hibs certainly aren’t shy of finding the net..I expect hibs to win comfortably despite the state of alloa’s playing surface..(old style 3G).
Alloa have lost their previous 2 games 5-0 and 4-0 and also lost 3-0 at Easter road earlier in the season.
I’d expect us to cover -1 and -2 handicap.
    Cummings and keatings to score.
Hibs to win 3-0 or 4-0 for me.

barrygadey, can’t argue too much for that. Going for wins for the top three – maybe all -1.

Ayr United have the longest unbeaten record in scotland with 13 games and the joint longest in britain along side brighton it’s there longest unbeaten run for 13 years and are at home again tomorrow against Airdrie a team we’ve had a recent rivalry with. Last week we managed to ground out a 1-0 win against Albion Rovers the last team to beat us, manager Ian McCall was far from happy with the performance and with Brian Gilmour expected back I’m expecting a performance from the honest men.

Leave Manchester United out your slips this weekend. Rooney, Martial, Fellaini and Carrick all out. If James Wilson is fit I imagine he’ll be leading the line. Can’t see many goals at Vicarage Road.

Seems pretty much the same injury hit set up of previous games for us.

The main threat for us is former Burton Albion full-back Chris Hussey, who will look to overlap Danny Mayor on the flank and get into a position to whip a brutal cross in to Clarke and Pope. Keep a close eye on Hussey – he is shit-hot and destined for bigger things.
