HEARTS have climbed to second after a run of five Premiership matches without defeat and should make it six against a Hamilton side who handed them their first defeat of the season.
That was a controversial 3-2 loss when Callum Paterson was wrongly sent off. There could be a bit of bad blood on Saturday and another red in the match pays 11-4 with William Hill.
A player has been sent off in the Jambos’ last four outings – two of theirs and two from their opponents – and the ref is Bobby Madden.
Hearts have won three in a row in the league without conceding and last week’s 4-0 success at Partick Thistle was impressive. The Jambos are extremely backable at 1-1 with bet365 to beat Accies and I’d even consider them -1 at 13-5 with Ladbrokes.
Paterson has been in good form since his red was rescinded and is 10-3 at Coral to net at any time. He scored in the last home match against County and before seeing red at New Douglas Park.
He is 10-1 at Paddy Power and bet365 to score first but will face big competition from Juanma who is 22-5 at McBookie.
It's six matches without a win for Aberdeen but they should be confident against a Dundee United side who crashed 3-0 at Hibs in the League Cup in midweek.
I'm not that keen to back the Dons at no bigger than 1-2 at McBookie but William Hill's 11-8 to win to nil is tempting.
Gary Locke has told Killie players they may earn a holiday with a good show at St Johnstone. My advice is to put away the passports as the Perth men look good for a home win. They are 8-11 at Betfred and Steven MacLean, who has netted six in his last four home matches, is 5-1 at Coral to break the deadlock.
Dundee entertain Partick in a game tough to call although the Jags may need to play keeper coach Paul Gallacher.
Motherwell are showing signs of improvement and are worth a look at 7-4 with Stan James at home to Inverness.
In the Championship Rangers should get back on track against Alloa but the Wasps could score having drawn 2-2 and 1-1 on their last two trips to Ibrox. Both teams to net pays 6-4 at betfair.
Alloa though are in poor form and I'm thinking about Rangers -3AH at evens with Coral.
Hibs followed their defeat of Rangers by beating Dundee United and should make it three big wins in seven days at St Mirren as long as they're not jaded.
They've won six in a row and Jason Cummings has netted in all of them. He is 7-5 at Paddy Power to net again which is much better than Hibs to win at 4-6 with boylesports.
Another hot hitman is Livington's Liam Buchanan. He has scored four in his side's last two away wins and is 13-5 with McBookie to hit the target at Morton.
Meanwhile, here are Owen Scott's stats and special. These are not tips from the William Hill man but may give you some pointers for the weekend.

While i do think Rangers will win comfortably i’m avoiding betting on them until they are back hitting 4 or 5 per game.
John smith back them 2moro as they will score 5-6-7. After gettin beat last wk they will take it out on alloa. 5-1 – 5. Bet365.
Alex, they may well score 5+ but theres been an air of complacency since the last 5+ game and far too many chances have been missed. Manager said he and players were angry after defeat last week but he said that after a narrow win a few weeks back so tomorrow my cash is on:
Hearts o1.5tgs 19/20
St Johnstone v Killie o2.5mgs 17/20
And a risky Aberdeen to win to nil 11/8
GL
15/2 is that your prediction? Rubbish. Lose one game and the punter(s) can’t wait to stick the boot in. Wont happen.
Harry R, try reading the post again and if you want you can apologise. If not I don’t care but people should read posts before spouting rubbish.
Great work Mr Fixit
Gonna be a dire day at Ibrox weather wise and I think Alloa will score but Rangers will score more.
Alloa are 40/1 to win crazy price in a 2 horse race.
Er, it’s a 3-horse race, Alva.
Unless you know a bookie who pays out on the draw…..
As an Arab, I’m afraid that Dons to win to nil isn’t risky at all.
We’ve had 1 goal (a dodgy pen) in 6 games.
