Best tennis tips and predictions today
This Friday, we’re predicting Medjedovic to keep playing as well as he has played this week and win, while also backing Michelsen to make the final in Metz.
Michelsen to beat Bu @ 3/6
Michelsen has been playing very solid tennis this week in Metz and while his opponent has done so as well, we think Michelsen is the better player, which is why he’s more likely to win.
The American has quite an aggressive style of play which can be like a wrecking ball at times. Bu is a bit more measured in his approach, but he plays a fairly clean style without too many mistakes.
Metz is somewhat slower for an indoor court, which means that you benefit from having more power. That’s more Michelsen’s style than that of Bu and we think this will matter in the matchup.
They also played once before and it was this year in Shanghai, and Michelsen won that in two sets. We think he’s going to do that again.
Medjedovic to beat Djere @ 5/6
Hamad Medjedovic has played some spectacular tennis this week and he’s through to the semi-finals. He’s had heavy support from the native crowd in Belgrade as well and that has helped him a lot.
His next opponent is another Serbian, Laslo Djere, who has beaten Medjedovic twice so far in the past. He also beat him in Stockholm not too long ago but we think things will be different this time around.
Medjedovic has simply been playing excellent tennis and that is likely to continue in this match. Djere can be quite tough because of a powerful serve and solid baseline play but sometimes you just have to go with the form.
The form has looked more impressive for Medjedovic and he looks like a player who might just go all the way and win the event.
