Bordeaux v PSG (Sun 8pm)
Paris travel to Bordeaux on Sunday evening, just a week after being crowned French champions for the fifth time in the last six seasons. They demolished Monaco 7-1 last Sunday to regain their title and also qualified for the French Cup final in midweek by beating Caen away. The Parisians are in top form at the moment. They have not lost domestically since their defeat away at Lyon back in January.
The way they played against Monaco was incredible, despite not having Neymar and Mbappé. Neymar is still out injured, as is Marco Verratti. But Kylian Mbappé scored two goals in midweek and was outstanding. He will start on Sunday at Bordeaux, alongside Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani.
Manager Unai Emery has some big decisions to make in midfield. Giovanni Lo Celso, the young Argentine, was superb against Monaco with two goals. He should start with Adrien Rabiot and Julian Draxler. Paris are not taking this game for granted but they have a strong record in Bordeaux with just one loss in their last eight visits.
For Bordeaux, this is a huge game. It is prestigious clash against the new champions. So far, this season, we have seen some good things from them and some more average ones. They have won their last two matches after six games without a victory. Bordeaux are only 10th in the table at the moment but they are only four points behind Rennes in fifth. They still believe they can catch them. But I think Paris will win again.
