LAST night it was all about Arsenal v Chelsea and tonight the focus is on Spurs v West Ham.

I wasn't about until late yesterday so didn't post tips but going by results it wasn't a bad night and there were plenty of winners including the likes of Jordan, HullShaker and alves on the game at the Emirates.

I suggested a treble on the comments section and it would have won at 6-4 thanks to Benfica's last-minute penalty equaliser against Sporting.

The Arsenal match was always going to be tough to call but it ended up a cracker and the Spurs is unlikely to be as straightforward as the prices suggest with both sides having played on Tuesday.

Spurs are a best 1-3 at Stan James and while they should win it is a derby against a side revived under Davie Moyes.

Andy Carroll's last-gasp winner against West Brom on Tuesday made it 11 points in six games and there have been plenty of goals in the Hammers matches with four of he last five going over 2.5 goals.

Harry Kane was rested at Swansea before coming on as a late sub and the refreshed striker is rightly first-scorer favourite. A biggest 21-10 at bet365 isn't great though.

Best bet here could be overs with the possibility of Carroll and Marko Arnautovic contributing for the Hammers. Top price is pretty short at 3-5 with Marathonbet.

Both to score is much bigger at 21-20 with Betway and Spurs have conceded in two of their last three home games against Southampton and Stoke while winning them easily. Spurs and both to score pays 2-1 at BetStars.

There are four Spanish Cup games including Celta Vigo v Barcelona and Numancia v Real Madrid. Barca are fielding a weakened team that won't feature the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez or Iniesta while Real aren't expected to feature Luka Modric, Isco and Cristiano Ronaldo. Karim Benzema is injured.

Remember these are two-legged affairs so while Barca and Real are odds-on favourites they're quite happy to take a draw and finish the job at home when their main men will return. Doesn't make it easy for betting purposes though.

The other games are Leganes v Villarreal and Espanyol v Levante while there are two Portuguese league games.

After a bit of thought I'm putting up a small Top Treble – Spurs to score 2+, Celta Vigo to score and Portimonense  draw no bet at home to Belenenses.

Spurs have netted 2+ in their last four at home to the Hammers and five goals in two meetings this season. Celta have hit seven goals in their last two home meetings with Barca and drew 2-2 at the Nou Camp earlier this season. They'll at full strength so should at least net.

Portimonense have gone off the boil in recent weeks but should at least avoid defeat at home to a side who have lost seven out of eight away from home.

Well done again to all the winners on Wednesday and cheers for holding the thread together while I was out of action.

Remember to visit welovebetting for latest tips and video chat.

Just having a look at Skys markets n england world cup

Nick Pope (burnley keeper) to make the squad is 10/1…need to take three keepers and he has had an outstanding season in comparison to all the other english keepers? All others are in relegation battle apart from Evertons pickford. Do you think he will be called up based on merit or overlooked for experience

Also odds of 4/7 on Sterling to start the first match at WC… surely starts if fit?

    • Avatar of Fraser M
      fraser51 7 years ago

Risky, you are basically betting at 4/6 he doesn’t get injured.

Bookies aren’t stupid, they love this type of market.

    • Avatar of Kyle B
      kyle b 7 years ago

Nick Pope has surprised me and performed well in Tom Heatons absence, like to think Heaton will slot straight back into the team when back fully fit though. He is the better of the two keepers and leads the team well, remember Heaton was on the brink of the England squad prior to his shoulder injury.

    • Avatar of Chris Cherry
      chirry 7 years ago

Any idea how long Heaton is expected to be out?

    • Avatar of Chris Cherry
      chirry 7 years ago

Yea same with any player really. The usual suspects are all 1/3 1/8 etc but Sterling was 4/7, dunno if bookies think he may not start but id expect him to be second on sheet after Kane if keeps form up

    • Avatar of Andy Gosling
      gosling111 7 years ago

Think he may be higher due to Southgate not seeming to be set on a formation.
If he sets up like the qualifiers then that would allow for Sterling however he tried out 3 5 2 against Brazil and Germany, this used wingbacks for width with 2 strikers.
I know sterling was unavailable for the friendlys however if he prefers this formation he may want to use Sterling as an impact player with his pace.

Maybe see how he sets up in the friendlys pre tournament.

Nothing much interests me in the way of goals today. Prices for spurs West Ham aren’t to my liking and although the big hitters play in the Spanish cup tonight they are away and it’s a first leg so most of the time this means they rest players knowing they can turn a bad result around at home with a full strength team. One market that has caught my in my research tho is cards at Wembley. The last 3 h2h league meetings have seen a total of 21 cards between spurs and West Ham. I fancy more of the same tonight.

Morning gents – one bet from me tonight

Tottenham v West Ham KO 8pm

Don’t get me wrong, Spurs are rightly undoubted favourites for this game however I must admit, I’m extremely surprised about how generous the bookies are on pricing up the hammers to score.

David Moyes men have scored an impressive 11 goals in their last 4 matches – Southampton, Burnely, WBA and Stoke have all scored at Tottenhams temporary home and the hammers look good value to do the same

    SPURS V WEST HAM

The last 7 meetings between the two in all comps when spurs are at home have ended +2.5 and the last 4 +3.5. Both have scored in 6 of those 7 and the way both are scoring currently it’s hard to see anything other than another high scoring game here even if spurs are at Wembley.
I’m surprised to see the bookies are being so generous here on West Ham scoring as they are much improved since Moyes took over and have scored 11 goals in their last 6 matches which also included a draw with arsenal and a 1-0 win over Chelsea and it will be a tough test for spurs tonight

Our recent PL games with Spurs are traditionally high scoring and usually with both netting. We’ve already come from 2-0 down at Wembley against them this season to win 2-3 and both sides were not massively under strength, regardless of what people may try to tell you

West Ham only need 3 corners for this bet, Williams. Not sure if that’s what you mean or you’re referring to taking on an extra corner for a different bet. :)

Not so good last night with the Spanish tips to come exactly opposite. Could be better to make a single with the draw.

Tonight, there is a risk at Real Madrid after the 0-3 home from Barca, but i will go for
    btts&over, Real win&btts

    More confident at London
    btts&over
    also btts both hts.

    Double of btts&over.
add for treble btts&over at Celta.

Back in Jamaica again tonight, which are all 8PM kick offs.

Portmore United 2+ team goals (NAP)
    4/5
    3 POINTS

Portmore United are on some run, winning their last 6 games in a row – scoring a minimum of 2 goals per game. Reno have lost their last 3 games in a row, and conceded 2 goals in their last 4. In fact they haven’t won a game in their last 7. Expect Portmore to do the business again tonight, whilst Reno may get on the scoresheet.

    4-Fold;
    Portmore United
    Arnett Gardens
    Cavalier draw no bet
Humble Lions v Waterhouse – BTTS

Similar thoughts to others on the spurs game:
Kane to score and 3+ corners each team @ 11/10 (**)

    Small stakes on:
    Spurs 2-1 @ 9/1
    Spurs 3-1 @ 11/1
    Carroll to score a header @ 12/1
Kane and Carroll 2+ shots on target each @ 8/1

It was 3 out of 3 and goals galore with yesterday’s Brasilian Youth Cup picks – hope to continue that form with what I reckon could be the best of today’s bunch…

SC CORINTHIANS PAULISTA UNDER 20 (2330 KO):

Corinthians Cup side nailed their opening games this time last year and with 6-4-5-6 match goals in the opening 4, I reckon we could be in line for a few more once again against a much weaker Corumbaense outfit:

    OVER 4.5 MGS…EVENS (Coral)
    ???

    OVER 5.5 MGS…21/10 (Coral)
    ?

    Best of luck

Logged on earlier to scav a bet.
1st one I clocked was your hammers goal.
Got 11-10 early doors and 12-5 half time even though they hadn’t had a shot on target.
Many thanks mate, oddly had the feeling after an hour this could be one of those one team battering the other and the others sneaking one on the break, and what a strike, and at Wembley.
Cheers mate and Mr obiang too of course.

    BTTS 20/21 NAP WON
    BTTS +2.5 13/10 NB LOST
    BTTS +3.5 11/5 LOST

Not the best but at HT didn’t think I’d get anything
