POOR old David Unsworth. Everton turned on the style for the first time this season on Wednesday – and Big Sam got all the credit.

Allardyce watched Everton's 4-0 demolition of West Ham from the directors' box before being appointed boss the next day.

Whether his presence inspired a masterclass from Wayne Rooney and Co who knows – but the turnaround was incredible. Goals galore and a clean sheet after conceding nine goals in two games.

Allardyce makes his actual bow at home to a Huddersfield side hammered 5-0 by Arsenal in midweek so it's a good starter.

David Wagner's promoted men haven't scored in seven away games since winning at Crystal Palace on day one.

Defence will be Big Sam's priority so they have another chance of winning to nil at 9-5 with McBookie. Just to win the Toffees are 8-11 at Unibet.

Wayne Rooney was the star of the show against the Hammers with his first Toffees hat-trick – including a stunner from halfway – and is 5-1 at Betfred to score first.

Leicester continue to impress under Claude Puel and Spurs were well beaten on Tuesday. Today the face a Burnley side who actually climbed above Spurs into sixth with their win at Bournemouth.

Only Man City and Chelsea have picked up more points away so Sean Dyche's men look big at 21-5 with McBookie.

They've beaten Chelsea, Everton and Southampton on the road and drawn with Liverpool and Spurs so won't fear a visit to the King Power.

The draw has a chance but as Leicester are scoring and conceding go for both to score at 23-20 with William Hill.

Spurs have now lost the same number of league games as last season (4) and face a tough trip to Watford.

The Hornets were fancied to take something from Man United in midweek but defensively were poor as they conceded four.

That will give Spurs hope of ending a poor run but they look too short to back at 8-11 with Betfred.

Watford tempt at 23-20 with bet365 not to lose and the game could go over 2.5 goals at 4-5 with Marathonbet.

On-form Liverpool look a good shout at Brighton but 1-2 is short so consider Liverpool and over 2.5 goals at 5-4 with boylesports.

Tonight's big game is Arsenal v Man United and while Jose Mourinho often parks the bus for big games on the road his tactics are different when he has Paul Pogba and his main men available.

A draw is possible at 9-4 with sportingbet and I fancy both teams to score at 10-13 with 10bet.

In the Championship I like Ipswich against Mark Warburton's Nottingham Forest who have lost three out of four. Ipswich are 8-5 at Unibet.

Derby let a lot of people down in midweek when they lost at home to the Tractor Boys but should bounce back to winning ways when Burton visit. The home pays 9-10 at McBookie.

Elsewhere the FA Cup dominates the card and from today's nine ties Robbie Neilson's MK Dons look best bets at 1-2 with McBookie at home to Maidstone.

Forest Green have been one of the form teams of League Two and could surprise Exeter. They are 2-1 at Paddy Power.
