MAYBE Graeme Murty should have asked to play every game away when he took on the Rangers caretaker job.
His chances of replacing Pedro Caixinha long term were ended by last Saturday's home defeat to Hamilton.
But as the club dither over their choice of manager he remains in the hotseat for tonight's trip to Dundee.
Murty won his first two games and should make it three out of four simply because Gers are on the road – and of course they face the side rooted to the foot after one point in six games.
Rangers have dropped just two points away from home and are a best 8-15 with McBookie.
They've netted 17 on their travels – the same as Celtic – and have scored in every half. To do so again they are 23-20 with McBookie.
Rangers' away games average four and all have gone over 2.5 goals. Gers and over 2.5 pays 6-5 at Ladbrokes.
Both teams have scored in two-thirds of Dundee home games and four-fifths of Gers' away outings and that pays 3-4 at bet365. Dundee's chances of netting are helped by the continued absence of experienced centre-half Bruno Alves.
Two-thirds of Rangers goals have been away from Ibrox and they average 2.8 goals on their travels. To score three or more – as they did in Murty's first match at Hearts – is a best 7-4 at McBookie.
Dundee are 5-1 at bet365 to notch a shock win while the draw pays 7-2 at 188Bet.
Picking a first scorer isn't easy with Alfredo Moreles totally off the boil. Kenny Miller is an option at 5-1 with bet365 but I'll go with Daniel Candeias at a reasonable price of 11-1.
AJ Leitch-Smith is the Dees' most likely marksmen and he is 10-1 at bet365 to break the deadlock.

Wouldn’t touch Rangers with bad money Mr F. Both teams are dire….McCann won’t see Easter and Rangers will still be a shambles till a proper & fit board are appointed that are upto the task
Totally agree, crazy having a bet on this game.Dont know where the goals will come from as both teams are shocking up front. Should be a no bet game.
Rangers away from home have been strong – they should win this.
Rangers have scored the same as Celtic on the road .They are shocking up front where will the goals come from mmm ? MR .F. am with you.
Morelos, there main striker, not scored in last 9 games and Millers record also pretty bad. Mmmmmm where are the goals going to come from, simple. Should’ve signed moult for 500k at start of season and things would’ve been better.
Could be Candeias or Windass – maybe take John as a 28-1 long shot.
