GOALS could be scarce in Germany tonight as the Bundesliga resumes with rock-bottom Cologne away to Stuttgart.
Cologne have just one point from a possible 21 and have mustered just two goals, neither of which came on their travels.
Chuck in the fact their £15million striker Jhon Cordoba misses out through injury and it seems unlikely they'll be involved in a thriller. Veteran striker Claudio Pizarro is likely to be handed his debut in Cordoba's absence but it's a lot to ask of a 39-year-old whose last game was in March for Werder Bremen.
Hosts Stuttgart, meanwhile, are winless in three but are yet to concede in their three home outings, with two 1-0 wins and a scoreless draw.
So while backing unders is always a risky tactic as an early goal but open the game up, it's hard to ignore the stats here and I'm going under 2.5 goals at 43-50 with Marathonbet.
At the other end of the spectrum, thrills and spills are expected in France where Lyon and Monaco lock horns. Lyon have fought out back-to-back 3-3 draws and six of their eight games overall have gone over 2.5.
For Monaco it's also six of eight going over and the last three head-to-heads have seen 13 goals so at least three this time is the call at 41-100 with Marathonbet.
