PREMIER League Darts Week 11 comes from Liverpool and on a Bank Holiday Weekend so the roars could be that much louder this week, making it an epic meeting.
Secondly, those without Sky Sports but subscribed with Sky will benefit from tonight's darts being screened for free on channel 407 Sky Sports Mix.
Tonight's fixtures include
- Anderson Vs Chisnall – Anderson leads 14-4
- MVG Vs Wright – MVG leads 45-10
- Lewis Vs Barney – Barney leads 34-22
- Taylor Vs Wade – Taylor leads 50-12
- Wright Vs Anderson – Anderson leads 19-12
Our usual feature includes the five favourites for this evening priced at nearly 19/1 (Anderson, MVG, Barney, Taylor and Anderson). The underdogs not to lose tonight is even BIGGER at 41/1 with Sportingbet and the even more rewarding 810/1 that all the underdogs win tonight with Marathonbet.
Anderson v Chisnall
Dave Chisnall could have blown his chances for a top four spot last week running out of steam when it mattered but on paper faces his bogey tie tonight according to the head to head and also lost back in week six 7-3. Chisnall however has produced some excellent scoring in recent times and the king of the maximums is tied in second spot in this campaign with only Barney netting more. Chisnall is averaging 0.343 180s per leg and compilers have the 4.5 line well covered.
However Chisnall has been averaging in excess of 99 in the last two games and is in with a chance at 97.50 with Paddy Power and Betway at 5/6. I am also going to take on the maximum line, which is set high at 8.5 and going against the trend that Chisnall did power in seven last week and think the 4/5 can be taken with BetVictor with other compilers just evens at fewer than eight.
Van Gerwen v Wright
MVG and Wright square off in a head to head, which sees mighty Mike dominating the head to head. Wright took the European tour title from MVG in the German Championship 6-3. Again with Wright playing twice tonight he will need to conserve some energy for the final game and am considering taking the under market with the maximums again. With the line set at 7.5 at 6/5 compilers are odds on for eight or more and even with their majestic throws Wright is prone to more 140's than most with the usual dip from the third arrow.
Lewis v Van Barneveld
Lewis and Barney square off with Lewis getting back into the hunt for a top four with a priceless victory against good pal Anderson last week. Barney is in a good position to make the finals night a point ahead of Taylor and three points ahead of Anderson. Barney is well worth a look at 11/10 for the most 180s generally and 6/5 with Bwin. Barney was victorious in their last meeting on this market.
Taylor v Wade
Taylor faces Wade yet again and Taylor has improved since the pair met early in the campaign where there was little in the game. Taylor has seen some resurgence in recent times to give his finals night chances a massive boost. Taylor should win this, although for us this is a no bet.
Wright v Anderson
In the last game, Wright will face Anderson, where both have played earlier in the evening and will entertain the crowd as they see Easter in. The pair for us like a lot of games that play twice usually play a more lethargic game and keeping this brief, the pair hit eight maximums in the last meeting back in week three, this was the opener. With the same line at the end of the night, taking fewer than eight at 10/11 with BetVictor and Boylesports takes our fancy.
