My first foray into the women's World Cup and having watched China try and kick Germany off the park on the opening day of the tournament it could well be their time to be kicked by the unconventional South Africans.
The Banyana Banyana (The girls) received 5 cards in their opener against Spain and they are up against it again tonight when they tackle a China side who are massive favourites to win this match.
South Africa vs China (KO 7.45pm)
The South Africans won't see much of the ball and like China did against Germany, won't be short of a foul. Five cards against Spain and with 5 of their last 6 games seeing at least one player booked I think South Africa are a great shout to land over 1.5 team cards.
China themselves received 4 cards against Germany and while this will be a completely different match I wouldn't be surprised if they found their way in into the referee's book.
Sadly South Africa are just here to make up the numbers but hopefully in their remaining two matches they'll go out fighting (literally).
Recommended Bets
- South Africa over 1.5 cards
- 5/6 (Bet365) (NAP)
Goals Bets:
There are two matches that have taken my fancy for goals, one from Armenia and one from Estonia. Small stakes to boost the coffers on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Two leagues which see plenty of goals and these shouldn't be far away

Rakvere JK Tarvas vs Tartu JK Welco (KO 5pm)
