AS if things weren't difficult enough on Day 11 one match was postponed meaning there were only four fixtures to choose from and only one of the remaining six members managed to pick a winning selection. That leaves just two members standing as we go in to the final day of the competition.

Day 11 Round-Up

@hellobad was the only member to call any of the results correctly on Day 11. His 5/4 shout on Nice landed as they won 1-0 against Montpellier. That was enough to win @hellobad the Daily Prize of a £150 free bet at Skybet.

Hard luck story of the night goes to @sean567 who had backed the draw at Morton but a last-minute penalty for Raith scuppered his 5/2 selection and ended his participation in the competition.

Also exiting the competition were @dazzyy, @jpq and @andrewklcc who couldn't find a winner. Well done to all those guys for making it this far in the competition.

@greaves was also on a loser having opted for a Morton win but he's still in with a chance to scoop the £500 Grand Prize due to the fact he's not used his Second Chance card yet.

So who can win?

The two members still in the competition are @hellobad and @greaves. Here's how the final day can pan out …

Scenario 1. @hellobad has 11/11 winners (@greaves has 10) so if he can choose one more winner he'll be guaranteed to take the top prize.

Scenario 2. If @hellobad doesn't find a winner, @greaves has the chance to pocket the £500. He must pick a winner. That would leave both men on 11 winners out of 12 and the accumulated odds of their selections would then come in to play. Currently @hellobad is on £166.22, whereas @greaves is on £170.69. That means any kind of win for @greaves, if @hellobad loses, would see him win the Grand Prize.

Scenario 3. If neither men find a winner, @hellobad will win the Grand Prize. Effectively @greaves would be out of the competition, while @hellobad would still have his Second Chance card to play.

Day 12

On to the final day of the competition where two members are potentially just one correct result away for landing a £500 free bet at Skybet.

Yesterday's matches were tough. Today's could be even tougher. Remember it's a home, away or draw selection only, from one of the selected matches below.

15:00 Everton 1/1 Draw 11/4 Leicester 12/5
15:00 Stoke 6/4 Draw 21/10 Crystal Palace 2/1
15:00 Bolton 7/5 Draw 12/5 Fulham 15/8
15:00 Cambridge 13/8 Draw 23/10 Mansfield 13/8
15:00 St Johnstone 6/4 Draw 12/5 Hearts 7/4

Please note there is no Daily Prize today.

Best of luck to @hellobad and @greaves!

Surely if they both pick the same there’s only one winner, it needs to be sent to you then revealed once both have submitted selectiond

  3. sean567 6 years ago

Best of luck gents. It’s been a great competition and I’m gutted to have fallen at the final hurdle with a last min penalty. May the best man win

    • oozie 6 years ago

Hi Sean, just to make matters worse, it looked a very soft penalty from where I was sitting, I would like to see a reply of it.
Mr John Mckendrick, the worst referee I’ve ever witnessed.
He’s been brutal any game I’ve saw him.
I don’t usually slaughter ref’s, but he is murder. lol

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

oozie, was a definite penalty I’m afraid.

    • oozie 6 years ago

    Good luck to both

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

jpq, more of our competitions would have runners-up prizes but this one had daily prizes and we wanted to give away something substantial to a winner as it’s Xmas.

    • jpq 6 years ago

      Fair enough Mr Fixit :-)

  15. greaves 6 years ago

Just got home from work… what a generous offer @hellobad I would be more than happy to accept the split as you have suggested. Been a great competition throughout and I appreciate the sporting gesture & all comments from everyone.
