I HAD to settle for a single on Wednesday after tipping a double.
Confused? Well let me explain. Andy Murray duly beat Tobias Kamke 3-0 but Milos Raonic retired hurt in his opening set against Gilles Muller so that part of the bet was voided.
I'm hoping for better luck on Thursday with a treble on the men's singles. Understandably I'm avoiding all the seriously short prices and focusing on three stars who provide a bit of value.
So let's star with big-hitting Argentine Juan Martin del Potro who looks slightly overpriced at 4-11 with William Hill to beat little battler Olivier Rochus.
Del Potro has the powerful game to be a dark horse at Wimbledon and should glide past the Belgian, possibly in four sets.
Next look at another outsider for the crown in Swede Robin Soderling. He faces veteran Aussie Lleyton Hewitt who has just returned from injury and should be too good.
Hewitt's a true battler but it would be a major surprise if he could live with Soderling who is also 4-11 with William Hill.
Complete the treble with giant American John Isner against Nicolas Almagro. Both were impressive winners in the last round but Isner can't use fatigue as an excuse after taking about 10 hours less to beat Nicolas Mahut than last year. He is 1-2 at Ladbrokes.
