View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Wednesday which features two both teams to score tips and two sides to Score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Ilves to Score 2+
Ilves will look to maintain their position in the top-half of the table, as they play host to bottom side HIFK at the Tampere Stadium.
After successive draws away from home, Ilves got back to winning way last time out as they won 3-2 at home to Lahti, meaning Toni Kallio’s side have won each of their last four in front of their own supporters.
Mixu Paatelainen’s visitors lost 1-5 at home to VPS at the weekend, meaning they’ve now lost each of their last three in the league and they remain winless, collecting just three points from their opening 10 fixtures.
HIFK have the worst defensive record in the Veikkausliiga, conceding 21 times and there’s a good chance they’ll concede at least another two against a side that’s scored 10 times in their last four at home.
Inter Turku to Score 2+
Inter Turku will also like to maintain their position in the top-six, as they play host to 10th-placed Lahti at the Veritas Stadion.
Inter Turku came from a goal-down to draw 1-1 away to SJK on Saturday afternoon to make it three draws from their last four matches, however, they are now unbeaten in their last four.
Lahti, on the other hand, lost 3-2 away at Ilves last time out, meaning llir Zeneli visitors have now failed to win any of their last five league matches, losing three of their last four.
Only VPS (21) have scored more goals in the Veikkausliiga than José Riveiro’s hosts (19) and there’s every chance they’ll score another two against their out-of-form opponents.
SJK vs Haka – Both Teams to Score
Two sides stuck in the bottom-half of the Veikkauslliga table meet in Seinäjoki, as ninth-placed SJK host seventh-placed Haka at the OmasP Stadion.
Joaquin Gömez’s hosts have lost lost just one of their last five following their 1-1 draw with Inter Turku last time out, whilst Haka put an end to their six-match winless run with a 3-2 success over Mariehamn.
Teemu Tainio’s visitors have found the back of the net in 9/11 of their league fixtures, including in each of their last five and there’s a good chance they’ll breach a SJK defence that’s registered just two clean sheets from their opening 11 fixtures.
However, Haka have kept just one clean sheet themselves and given the hosts have scored in 4/5 at home, there’s a good chance we’ll see both sides score here.
VPS vs Honka – Both Teams to Score
Honka will look to keep pace with the top-two, as they travel to Vaasa to take on VPS at the Hietalahti Stadium.
Honka inflicted league leaders KuPS with their first defeat of the season last time out, to make it back-to-back wins, whilst VPS also made it two wins from two, as they thrashed HIFK 1-5 away from home.
Jussi Nuorela’s hosts are the league’s top-scorers with 21 goals from their opening 10 matches and there’s every chance they’ll add to that tally against a Honka side that’s conceded in 4/5 on their travels.
However, Vesa Vasara’s visitors have scored in eight of their last nine and given the hosts have only registered two clean sheets this season, there’s every chance we’ll see both of these sides find the back of the net.
