This time last week, we were gearing up for the first round of action at the US Open, and after seven days of excellent tennis, we are now ready for crunch time.
On the men's side of the draw, there have been no major shocks with Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner all alive and kicking. The chasing pack behind that trio, including the likes of Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev, are also still in the tournament.
The women's side of the draw has provided us with a couple more shock results. Fifth seed, Mirra Andreeva, and sixth seed, Madison Keys, have both been eliminated by unseeded opponents.
Ahead of the fourth round getting underway today, check out our US Open tips below.
US Open day 8 tips: Our picks
Jessica Pegula 2-0 Ann Li (8/11)
Jessica Pegula may not be the last American woman standing in the women's singles draw, but she is probably the best hope of a US winner at Flushing Meadows this year.
The world number four has been brilliant at the tournament so far, winning all three of her matches so far in straight sets. The furthest she has been pushed in any of the six sets she's played was against Victoria Azarenka in the third round, when she was forced to seven games for the first time.
Up next is Ann Li, another American player on the women's side of the draw who has performed well. Li has only dropped one set in her three matches so far but Pegula's remarkable consistency from the first point to the last should wear Li down in straights.
Taylor Townsend to beat Barbara Krejcikova (11/10)
Sometimes, you just catch a wave in tennis and you have to ride it and that's exactly what's happening to Taylor Townsend.
Whether she is being spurred on by the unsavoury comments made by Jelena Ostapenko, which the Latvian has now apologised for, is unclear. However, in the context of her form at the US Open, it doesn't really matter why it's happening, just that it is.
We've seen unseeded players rip through grand slams before in women's tennis and there is every chance we are in the midst of another historic run here.
Betting on nothing other than ‘momentum' isn't something I'd usually advocate for and all the stats indicate that Krejcikova should win. However, they also said Townsend should have lost to Ostapenko and Andreeva, but she ended up beating both in straight sets.
Adrian Mannarino to beat Jiri Lehecka (21/10)
Adrian Mannarino's price of 21/10 to beat Jiri Lehecka immediately caught my eye when looking through the odds for today's matches. The Frenchman has played the best tennis of his career in recent months and 21/10 feels long.
Mannarino has won eight of his last nine matches on an American hard court, with his only defeat in that time frame coming against Jannik Sinner. As part of the run, he has defeated the likes of Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul, players who are either as good as or better than Jiri Lehecka.
Lehecka is no slouch, and he's had a great season, but the value is certainly on a Mannarino victory.
