It's crunch time at the US Open as the men's and women's singles tournaments near their climax.
Last night, Novak Djokovic once again proved that he is very capable of mixing it with the best as he beat US hopeful, Taylor Fritz in four sets on Arthur Ashe. The 24-time Grand Slam Champion has now set up a semi-final with Carlos Alcaraz.
It was an even more straightforward night for Women's world number one, Aryna Sabalenka, who didn't even have to hit a single shot to qualify for the semi-finals after Marketa Vondrousova withdrew due to injury. Sabalenka will now take on Jessica Pegula in the semi-finals.
The rest of the quarter-finals will wrap up today. What do we have in stall?
US Open day 11 tips: Our picks
Felix Auger-Aliassime to beat Alex de Minaur (6/5)
Felix Auger-Aliassime has performed at his highest level in years over the past ten days at Flushing Meadows, and after taking Andrey Rublev down in straight sets two days ago, he will come into his match against Alex de Minaur full of confidence.
Auger-Aliassime has only dropped one set at the tournament so far, and that is despite playing two of the best 15 players in the world, Andrey Rublev and Alexander Zverev.
Despite all that, De Minaur is still the bookies' favourite for this clash and, like his opponent, has only dropped one set so far at the tournament.
However, the Australian is yet to face anyone ranked inside the world's top 50. The sudden jump in level could catch De Minaur off guard, allowing Auger-Aliassime to assert his dominance in the match.
Naomi Osaka 2-0 Karolina Muchova (1/1)
Naomi Osaka is another player who has played at a higher level of tennis this week than she has in many years. After taking time off to be a Mother a few years ago, the four-time Grand Slam champion has struggled to get back to her best, but over the past week, she has been close.
Osaka has dropped just one set en route to the quarter-finals and was particularly impressive last time out against world number three, Coco Gauff. Osaka didn't face a single break point throughout the match, and broke Guaff four times in a dominant display on Arthur Ashe.
Her opponent in the quarter-final is Karolina Muchova, who has had a good tournament herself. However, there are question marks over her fitness after she struggled past Kostyuk in the fourth round. Muchova has also been forced into three sets in all four of her matches at the tournament, which could be a problem against the fresher Osaka.
Iga Swiatek 2-0 Amanda Animisova (4/5)
Iga Swiatek was never expected to win Wimbledon a couple of months ago but that triumph has breathed new confidence into the Pole, and she is now on yet another remarkable winning streak.
Swiatek has now won nine matches in a row and has only just once since the beginning of July. Of her current nine-match winning streak, she has only failed to win in straight sets on one occasion.
Amanda Anisimova has had a kind draw up until now, but she should struggle against the consistency of Swiatek.
