View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Tuesday which features three both teams to score tips and a side to score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Newcastle United vs Everton – Both Teams To Score
Frank Lampard takes charge of his first Premier League match as Everton boss, as he travels to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United.
Both of these sides have been struggling this season, with Everton sitting in 16th, just four points above their opponents who are currently positioned in 19th.
Both the Magpies and the Toffees have struggled defensively this season, with them managing just five clean sheets between them in the Premier League.
Only Chelsea and Manchester City have shut out Newcastle at St James’ Park and with Everton scoring in 7/10 on their travels, I like the look of goals at both ends in the North-East.
Luton Town to Score 2+
Luton Town will look to keep up their excellent run of form, as they host bottom side Barnsley at Kenilworth Road.
Prior to booking their place in the fifth-round of the FA Cup, Nathan Jones’s side have won five of their last eight matches in the Championship, losing just once.
Barnsley, on the other hand, have collected just three points from their last 12 Championship matches, with the Tykes losing each of their last five.
Barnsley have lost nine of their last 10 away from home, conceding two or more in seven of their last eight and there’s a good chance their in-form hosts will strike at least twice here.
Accrington Stanley vs Oxford United – Both Teams to Score
Oxford United will look to extend their unbeaten run to five in League One, as they travel to the Wham Stadium to take on John Coleman’s Accrington Stanley.
Karl Robinson’s side have took 10 points from their last four matches, scoring 14 goals, whilst Stanley are unbeaten in their last five at home.
Accrington have managed to find the back of the net in 14 of their 15 matches at home, whilst the U’s are the joint-highest scorers in League One.
Given Accrington’s strong record at home and Oxford’s good recent run of form, we should see goals here and I’m happy happy to back both sides to hit the back of the net.
Sheffield Wednesday vs Wigan Athletic – Both Teams to Score
Two of the form sides in League One go head-to-head at Hillsborough, as Sheffield Wednesday host Wigan Athletic.
Darren Moore’s side have won four of their last five to move them within just three points off the playoffs, whilst the visitors are unbeaten in their last 12 in the league, winning eight.
Both of these side rarely fail to net, with the Owls scoring in all 13 of their league matches at Hillsborough, whilst the Latics have scored in 25 of their 26 league matches.
Given both of these sides records in front of goal this season, I’m happy to back these two in-form sides to score in what should be an entertaining clash.
