View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Tuesday which includes a team to score 2+ goals, two Both Teams to Score and an over 2.5 goals selection.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Celtic vs Ferencváros – Over 2.5 Goals
It may only be matchday 3 in the Europa League, but this is already a must win for both sides after they both lost their opening two fixtures.
Celtic’s previous two group games have been full of goals, with 11 goals being scored. They threw away a two goal lead in Andalusia to be beaten 4-3 by Real Betis, then thumped 0-4 at home to Leverkusen in a game they could easily have scored in.
Ferencváros two group games have seen a total of seven goals being scored, being defeated 2-1 by Bayer Leverkusen before losing 1-3 to Real Betis at home.
Both sides have been scoring plenty of goals this season but they are also vulnerable at the back. With it being a must win for both, I’m expecting both sides to go for it and we should see at least three goals.
Besiktas vs Sporting Lisbon – Both Teams to Score
Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon travel to Istanbul to face Besiktas in what is also a must win match for both after losing their opening two fixtures.
Besiktas have only won one of their last five matches, conceding 11 goals. They have scored in all six of their home games this season, scoring a total of 13 goals.
Domestically, Sporting are still unbeaten in Liga NOS, winning 6/8 matches and scoring in every game, although they have conceded in 3/4 of their away games.
Both Besiktas and Sporting know the importance of a win and we should see both sides going for it. Both sides are more than capable of scoring and I’m expecting them to do exactly that.
Portsmouth vs Ipswich Town – Both Teams to Score
After winning their opening three matches of the season, Danny Cowley’s side have registered just one win in their last nine League 1 assignments.
That win did come in their last home match as they scored four last promotion chasing Sunderland and they’ve managed to score at least once in all five of their games at Fratton Park.
After failing to win any of their opening six matches, Paul Cook’s side have lost only one of their last six matches, winning three of them.
Ipswich are one of only two sides in League 1 to score in every game and are the league top scorers with 23. They’ve only kept two clean sheets though, with no sides conceding more than their tally of 21.
PSG to Score 2+
After a surprise 1-1 draw away to Club Brugge on MD1, PSG got their Champions League campaign back on track with a 2-0 victory over Man City last time out.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have a perfect record at the Parc des Princes so far this season, winning all six and scoring at least two goals on each occasion.
It’s been a poor start for RB Leipzig in the Champions League as they’ve lost both their opening two matches against Man City and Club Brugge, conceding eight times.
It’s been a difficult start for Jesse Marsch this season and they’re still yet to win away from home in all competitions, failing to keep a clean sheet in all five matches.
