There's plenty of EFL Trophy ties tonight and it's always fascinating to see how the Premier League youth teams get on against lower-league pros.
Liverpool's Under-21s are on the road at Burton Albion tonight and BoyleSports make the League One side 8/15 favourites with home advantage.
But the Anfield kids drew with Harrowgate Town and Blackpool in their section last season so that suggests they won't be a pushover.
Burton Albion vs Liverpool Under-21s top betting tips
Burton Albion have only claimed one victory inside 90 minutes in their seven games this season and head into this game on the back of three straight defeats.
With Liverpool's Under-21s drawing two of their EFL Trophy group games last term, there could be some value in backing them in the double chance tonight at 5/4 with BoyleSports..
The caveat is that they were thrashed 5-1 by Crewe in their opener last year and haven't been in great form in the Premier League 2 this season.
Liverpool have lost 3-2 to Burnley and 4-3 to Leicester but got back on track with a 2-1 win over Stoke last time out. That suggests we'll see goals at both ends tonight so that could be the best option for punters.
Combining BTTS and over 2.5 strikes only pays 5/6 at BoyleSports but over 3.5 goals on its own is better at 5/4. Over 1.5 first-half goals is also decent at 6/5.
Bradford City vs Grimsby Town
Grimsby are still basking in the glory of their EFL Cup win over Manchester United but the bookies don't fancy their chances away to Bradford in the EFL Trophy tonight.
There was a hangover from that shootout win over the Red Devils on Saturday as Grimsby crashed to a 1-0 home defeat in League Two against Bristol Rovers.
They now face a Bradford side who are flying, with Graham Alexander's side unbeaten in eight games this term.
The League One outfit have taken the scalps of Championship teams Blackburn and Stoke in the EFL Cup and a lot will depend on how strong a team Alexander picks tonight.
But combining a Bradford win with over 1.5 goals still looks good value at 11/10 with BoyleSports given they have home advantage.
BTTS has landed in six of Bradford's games this season so it could also pay to combine that with over 2.5 goals at 23/20.
Wigan vs Salford City
There's another League One v League Two clash in the EFL Trophy tonight as Wigan host Salford City.
Both teams have been inconsistent so far this season but Salford head into this game in poorer form, with a defeat and a draw in their last two outings.
Wigan's home form has been excellent, with four wins and a draw from their five games, so they look decent value at evens with BoyleSports.
Again, a lot will depend on how seriously both managers treat this competition but that price is pretty generous given Wigan are a league above their opponents.
Over 2.5 goals has come up in just one of the last four games for both sides so that suggests this won't be a thriller. Under 2.5 goals isn't great value at 5/6 but betting against BTTS is a little better at evens.
