THE bookies appear to have reined things in in the last few years when it comes to outrageous offers during the Cheltenham Festival but if you look hard enough there's still plenty of money to be made, or insurance to be gained at the bookies expense.

I've trawled the bookies sites to find out what they're up to and you'll find a long list at the bottom of this post. It's not an exhaustive list but's left me a little exhausted pulling it together! Here are some of the best offers around. (as always most are for new customers, you must be 18+ and terms and conditions apply so please check the bookie's sites for details)

5. Get Buveur D’Air to win the Champion Hurdle at 50/1 at Coral

Coral lead Day One's enhanced markets with a huge 50/1 on race favourite Buveaur D'Air in the Champion Hurdle. The horse is currently trading around 8/15 and there won't be many go off shorter during the Festival so this is quite an odds boost. The max stake may only be £1 but  you'l also get a £5 free bet if your bet loses. (Note Paddy Power's enhancement on Buveur D’Air is only 28-1)

6. Get 70/1 On Faugheen to win the Champion Hurdle at Paddy Power

If you don't fancy Buveur D'Air in the Champion Hurdle or if you just want an alternative option the how about getting a quid on the aforementioned Paddy Power's 70/1 on (13/2 shot) Faugheen to spring a surprise?

7. Get 16/1 on Getabird to win the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at 888Sport

Get your Festival off to a flier with this enhanced offer from 888Sport. Willie Mullins' Getabrid will go off as clear favourite around the 2/1 mark so getting a fiver at 16s looks like a good piece of business, which you could of course lay elsewhere.
