Our Acca Tips are mostly on the win-daw-win markets and largely based on statistical analysis of recent performances.

Ajax v Young Boys – Over 2.5

Ajax are on track for 100 league goals this season and are already averaging 3.16 per game (boosted by a 13-0 win over VVV). They've scored in all but one of their 24 Eredivisie matches and knocked out high-flying Lille in the last round.

Opponents Young Boys also top their domestic league and are a whopping 19 points clear of their nearest rivals. The big danger is that they start to switch off and three draws in their last three matches suggest there might be signs of that.

But they'll square up to the 4-time European champions with some confidence having dumped Bayer Leverkusen out the competiton in the previous round, beating them twice to qualify 6-3 on aggregate.

This could be another high-scoring tie and Over 2.5 goals is the pick.

Slavia Prague to score 2+

When Rangers reached the 2008 final of the competition their run was built on a solid back five and strong defensive performances but this time around they seem intent on outscoring everyone on their way through the competition. The newly crowned Scottish champions have struck 22 goals and conceded 12 in the competition proper – an average of 4.25 goals per game.

Hosts Slavia have been the best team in the Czech Republic this season and top the Liga by nine points from city rivals Sparta. They're unbeaten and have scored 2 or more in 15 of their 22 league matches.

The Gers may be a little hungover from their title celebrations at the weekend and Slavia, who knocked out Leicester in the previous round could take advantage. There's a very decent chance Rangers will get on the scoresheet which will force Slavia on to the front foot and with home advantage could get a couple themselves.

Granada v Molde – Both Teams to Score

Molde also pulled off one of the results of the last round by dumping Hoffenheim out of the competition 5-3 on aggregate. The Norwegians emerged from their winter hibernation in good shape and started where they left off last season – scoring goals.

Bodo Glimt stole all the headlines in Eliteserien last term but Molde, who finished second, amassed 77 goals in their 30 league matches.

Granada sit 9th in La Liga and have a few injuries to contend with but the stat that catches is the eye is that seven of their last eight in all competitions have seen both teams score. With Molde's goal threat and Granada's recent record BTTS looks the play here.

Spurs v Dinamo Zagreb – Over 2.5 Goals

Spurs swept Austrians Wolfsberger aside in the last round but could find Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb a tougher nut to crack. Dinamo topped the group that included Wolfsberger, Feyenoord and CSKA Moscow, then beat Russian side Krasnodar 4-2 on aggregate.

They've hit 57 goals on their way to the top of their domestic league and can get on the scoresheet in north London. That would help us on the way to Over 2.5 Goals.

Spurs look in better shape now than they did a few weeks ago but let's not get too carried with wins over Wolfsberger, Fulham, Burnley and Crystal Palace. They've bundles of ability going forward and should get among the goals but this won't be as easy as the 4/11 odds suggest.
