LIKE Mr F Sunday was a no-bet day – Monday isn’t much better but at least there are some internationals to look at.
I’m off to Lanzarote in a few hours for a week to seek some much-needed sunshine so will have plenty time to look out any potential goal gems over a quiet midweek of football.
Have had a good scan today and have come up with two doubles for smaller stakes.
Wales v Uruguay (12.35pm)
Bulgaria v Kazakhstan (5pm)
Plenty of firepower on display here in Ryan Giggs' second match in charge. He couldn’t have asked better start after a resounding 6-0 thumping of China but this is much tougher. Uruguay could bring this in themselves but have to fancy Wales netting with Gareth Bale in the side.
Kazakhstan stunned Hungary 3-2 the other day and after a 1-1 draw with Armenia it’s a positive set of results after a poor qualifying campaign. Bulgaria are no great shakes and while this game is tough to call Kazakhstan look appealing on the handicap market.
Really don’t think Bulgaria are going to win this by two goals – a Kazakhstan win a draw or a defeat by one goal brings this in.
- Wales v Uruguay over 1.5 goals
- Kazakhstan +2
- (10-11, William Hill)
***************************
It’s Armenian League action today and two markets I’ve picked out for goals.
- Alashkert II v Shirik II (11am)
- Artsakh v Erebuni (11am)
- Over 2.5 match goals double (1-1, bet365)
Good luck if you’re having a bet today – roll on Friday.
