CLIFTONHILL for thrills last night – I’ve been to and played on better junior grounds but that’s the romance of the Cup I guess.
The 4-0 win probably flattered St Johnstone but we controlled the game from start to finish and looking forward to Hearts away in the next round.
One match has really caught my eye today.
Hibs U20s v Ross County U20s (2pm)
My two favourite SPL Development clubs for goals are in action at the Oriam today.
The young Staggies have been a staple part of my goals betting in this league for years now. Their last nine matches have seen 48 goals (4-2, 2-3, 4-3, 4-2, 3-2, 4-3, 1-1, 4-1, 1-4 ) and they travel to table-topping Hibs who score plenty at home.
Would be very surprised given County’s leaky defence but ability to score if we didn’t see some more goals today.
