IT’s all eyes on Perth today as St Johnstone host Rangers. It’s a tough game to call but I do really like the look of corners
St Johnstone v Rangers (KO 12.15pm)
There is only one bet for me today and it has to be Rangers team corners. They have been racking up a ridiculous number of corners recently.
In their last two games they have won 33 corners and fall just short of 100 Corners in their last 9 domestic matches which is incredible (11 /22/ 9/ 9 / 10 / 13 / 8 / 10)
In each of those last 9 matches they managed at least 8 corners, pulling in double figures on 5 occasions. They travel to Perth knowing that they can’t afford anymore slips up. If they want to go into 2018 as league leaders.
This really is a must win for Rangers and the way they play will mean they’ll have their lions share of the ball, getting plenty of balls into the box.
Was really surprised to see very generous odds from the bookies on corner markets for this game. Quite a few opportunities here , total match corners, Rangers team corners and Rangers on the handicap market.
Opting for the later two at very good prices in my opinion especially given Rangers have been hammering the corner count.
We should see at least another 7 or 8 corners from them today.
