THE busy festive card starts today and I’m focusing on the Scottish games to boost the Christmas funds.

Hibernian v Livingston (KO 3pm)

After wins against Hamilton and Celtic, Hibs held Rangers to a draw midweek and whilst it was hardly vintage stuff form Neil Lennons side it was a good point considering Rangers dominated.

7 points from those three games is a good return and nothing but three points today will do.

Hibs have only lost once at home in the last 12 months but they really need to start winning against the sides they should be beating. 2-2 draws against St. Mirren and Dundee simply isn’t good enough.

Livingston have had a terrific season but its worth pointing out all of their good work is done at home on their plastic pitch.

Away from home they have been poor and have only collected 5 points on their travels which makes me think Hibs are a decent price to win this.

Hibs are in good shape and have refound a bit of form. Livi are a good side but not away from home and that’s why I’m taking the Hibs to collect another three points.

Recommended Bet:

  • Hibs to best Livingston
  • 17/20 (Coral) (NAP)

***************************************************************************

Scottish Division One BTTS treble

Arbroath v Raith Rovers
Brechin v Airdrie
East Fife v Forfar

It’s a cracking league for goals Division one especially for both teams to score.

There are three games today I like with a top of the table at Arbroath in a match Raith have to win.

Nothing between the other sides – this shouldn’t be far away.

Recommended Bet

  • Both Teams to Score Treble
  • 3/1 (Ladbrokes)

**************************************************************************

Hartlepool v Havant and Waterlooville (KO 3pm)

Rule of thumb when it comes to Havant playing away from home – back goals.

9 of their last 10 games have seen over 2.5 goals and on the road most of those goals have been scored at the wrong end.

They have the second worst away record in the league with just 6 of their 24 points gained on the road and they make the long journey up to Hartlepool to play a side who can’t buy a win at home. They’ve lost their last 5 with all 5 seeing over 2.5 goals and both sides scoring. Same again today

Recommended Bet:

  • Over 2.5 match goals
  • 9/10 (Bet365)

Will also be on the usual Goal specials in English league 1 and 2

Goal in the first in all matches 55/1 and 66/1

Over 1.5 match goals 28/1 and 35/1

Good luck with your bets today 👍🏼⚽️⚽️⚽️

Being at the Man City match my mate texted me that Hibernian were losing.

I do not know how much faith we put into Hibernian but one must agree that they are a very difficult team to way up and have been expensive to follow this football season to date.
