ANOTHER 12 Betfred Cup matches tonight – Mr F has rightly pointed out it's been tough to bet on so far with quite a few surprising results.

The Premiership teams have really made hard work of it with most of the 8 teams dropping points at some stage.

Goals is probably the best way to go tonight.

Hearts v Cowdenbeath
Motherwell v QOS

Two matches that should see plenty of goals – Hearts need to win this after their ineligible player point reduction and should ease past Cowdenbeath. Motherwell welcome probably the most impressive side in the competition so far QOS led by their goal king Stephen Dobbie who has already netted 7 in three games. Motherwell won convincingly at home in their opener and wouldn’t be surprised to see both sides net.

  • Back over 2.5 match goals double
  • (5-4, bet365) (NAP)

The two matches mentioned above as well as Killie at Spartans and St Mirren at Queens' Park also look appealing for goals and they should all aid in landing the Skyebet total match goals from all 12 games. 4/5 for 37+ goals should land but going to take 39+ goals at 11/8.

  • 39+ goals in the 12 Betfred Cup ties
  • (11-8, Skybet)
