IT'S another busy night of Champions League action and it's probably the best looking set of fixtures I can recall in this season's competition in terms of the likelihood for goals. There are some crackers and I'd expect us to see some high-scoring games tonight.
Champions League (8pm, 6 matches)
PSG v Liverpool
This is a massive game for both clubs and one in which neither side can afford to lose and we should see a similar open game to the match played at Anfield.
Liverpool need to get their act together though having lost both away games at Napoli and Belgrade without scoring but they'll fancy their chances of travelling to Paris and doing the double over PSG.
The hosts, despite their attacking prowess, are far from solid defensively with each of their last 7 UCL matches seeing both sides score and that should land again tonight .
Borussia Dortmund v Club Brugge
It's back to the fortress for the German giants and they should make easy work of their Belgian opponents.
The first game finished with Dortmund running out 1-0 winners but I don't see it being so close tonight.
Dortmund have been in sensational form at home, they've won 9 of their last 10 games with 8 of those matches seeing at least 4 goals.
And with 6 of their last 7 matches at home in the UCL league also seeing over 2.5 goals we should see them running out easy winners against a Brugge side who aren't in great shape but have picked up 4 points and are more than capable of scoring a consolation.
Recommended Bets
- Over 2.5 match goals double
- 5/4 (Betfair) (NAP)

That takes care of two of the games, there are three other matches though that cry out goals and could easily have been picked for the NAP.
Napoli v Red Star Belgrade
The Serbs are a tough team to beat at home (just ask Liverpool) but on the road are vulnerable without their hostile crowd supporting them.
They lost 6 goals in Paris and 4 in Liverpool – I don't see them improving that away record against a side who have already beaten Liverpool and drawn twice with PSG. Napoli are more than capable of racking up a decent score here.
The Rest
Spurs host Inter and Barcelona travel to PSV – an easy case to be made for these two matches for goals and as I said earlier in my opinion it's the best looking set of fixtures I've seen this season in the UCL.
You have two strong favourites in Dortmund and Napoli that should deliver a decent amount of goals and the matches at PSG, Spurs and PSV have goals written all of them. I'd be really surprised if those three didn't see at least 3 goals in each game.
Sky Bet aren't taking any chances tonight on the 8pm games – markets are usually set at 18+ but they are set at 20+. It's high but a target I still think will be achieved given tonight's attractive set of fixtures.
Recommended Bet
- 8pm UCL games – 20+ goals scored
- 6/5 (Skybet) (NB)
