HOPE everyone had a fantastic Christmas. Have had a good look the through today’s English games and have shortlisted six games for goals.
They are Watford v Lecicester, Hull v Derby, Nottm Forest v Sheff Wed, Bradford v Peterborough, Walsall v Bristol Rovers and Cheltenham v Yeovil.

Walsall v Bristol Rovers
Any number of the above matches could have been the NAP but going for this on the strength we should see both sides score. Rovers are really struggling having lost eight of their last 10 – eight of those saw over 2.5 match goals with both sides netting in seven of those. The hosts have been great for BTTS with 20 of their 26 games seeing both sides find the net (11 from 14 at home). Can’t see either side keeping a clean sheet here and that should lead us to goals.
- Over 2.5 match goals (21-20, BetVictor) (NAP)

Hull v Derby
Nottm Forest v Sheff Wed
Despite their lowly position only three clubs have scored more goals this season than Hull – sadly though they have the joint worst defensive record in the league. Derby are flying at the moment – they’ll score here but always a chance Hull will find the net at home.
Always tricky playing against a side who have just lost their manager (Sheff Wed) this is another fixture where I think we’ll see both sides the net. The last 4 meetings have seen over 2.5 goals and both sides scoring. Forest don’t keep many clean sheets and you always seem to see a team response when a manager is sacked.
- Over 2.5 match goals double (29-10, Ladbrokes)

Over 2.5 Goals Treble
- Watford v Leicester
- Bradford v Peterborough
- Cheltenham v Yeovil
(9-2, bet365)

Nottm Forest v Sheff Wed
Already mentioned the fact Wednesday are managerless – wouldn’t be surprised to see them go to the City Ground and win. Happens so often when a team sack their manager.
- Sheff Wed to score before 54 mins 5-6
hull n wallsall disasters.
