NOVAK DJOKOVIC'S win in the Rome Masters extended the Serbian’s unbeaten run to 39 games and edged him closer towards breaking the all-time record for an unbeaten run.

Paddy Power have been forced to cut the odds to 13-8 on him breaking Guillermo Villas record of 46 consecutive matches set in 1977.

He is also odds on at 1-4 to break John McEnroe’s record of 42 games unbeaten in a calendar year.

The world No.1 and No.2 look set to dominate the French Open next week and should be backed at 6-5 to meet again in the Final.

Despite beating Nadal in Italy, Paddy Power still have the Spaniard as favourite but the five-time winner has drifted to 10-11 while Djokovic has been cut to 11-8 to pick up the title.

Djokovic is 8-15 to lose his first match at the French Open, 5-2 Aegon Championship (Queens), 7-1 Wimbledon and 14-1 any event after SW1.

French Open outrights: 10-11 Nadal, 11-8 Djokovic, 18-1 Federer, 20-1 Murray, 33-1 Ferrer, 40-1 Soderling, 50-1 Del Potro.
