IT'S on days like today that you wish you'd paid more attention to the Spanish third tier. Or the German regional leagues. Or womens' football.
Those are about as good as gets in the dark days of an international break like today.
One league we do know a bit about is the Eerste Divisie in Holland which is always good for goal. There's only two games today but both could return an Over 2.5 Goals double.
MVV and Almere City are at the lower end of the table but like most teams their games average over three goals. MVV's last seven have all finished overs while Almere's away games see 3.67 goals per game.
Top of the table Emmen host Telstar who are just outside the relegation zone. Curiously Emmen's matches feature on of the lowest average goals per game in the division at just 2.35 per match but that increases to 2.80 at home. That makes Over 2.5 Goals a little riskier than the other game but on a day when there's not much else happening the Dutch Double at 8/5 could be a worth a small punt.
In the golf Scottie Scheffler carries The Caddy's hopes in to the final day at the WGC Dell Technologies Matchplay where he's one of four remaining players on the final day. The Caddy singled him out at 18/1 before the start of the tournament and he's now just 12/5 to win.
