IT'S all about goals on Wednesday and games from three continents and four countries can contribute towards a lively evening.

Sport Boys v Royal Pari (8pm)

Bolivian action takes centre stage after much deliberation and, although there's some cracking value closer to home, I just sense the bookmakers have missed a trick here and left the back door open for a South American smash and grab!

Sport Boys had a pretty impressive campaign last year with some surprise results but (for me at least) the real shock came in the shape of Royal Pari who, much like my beloved Wilstermann last year, came right out of left field with a cracker of a campaign.

Stronger than The Strongest?

Pari were impressive both home and away which is a rarity in the Bolivian top flight and it looks like they have carried that threat into this year's Apertura smashing The Strongest 5-0 in their last game after their opener ended in a draw away to Oriente Petrolera.

While away form can differ in this unique and geographically biased league, Pari have still been pretty consistent and have hit the net in 100% of their last 8 away matches whilst hosts Sport Boys have conceded in 9 out of their own last 13 while on home soil in Warnes.

Home side not always ready

A 2-0 away win to lowly Aurora opened up the hosts' campaign but was followed up by a shock draw at home to the newly-promoted (and fantastically named) Always Ready who gave a great account of themselves and earned a point in a hard-fought 1-1 stalemate.

H2H-wise it's Royal Pari again who have the edge having won the most recent bouts 4-1 at home and 3-0 away in October and August respectively – the bookies early-season uncertainty in pricing the games outrights only adds to my confidence Pari may just offer a chink of value:

Recommended Bets

  • Royal Pari Over 1.5 Team Goals
  • (Evens, Bet365) 3 Points

While Bolivia may form the basis of my main bet there are 3 EPL games, 1 SPL match and 3 more in Costa Rica that could all feature at least two goals and I'm rolling them up for a speculative 7-fold that ought not to be too far away.

Over 1.5 match goals 7-fold

  • Bournemouth
  • Liverpool (8pm)
  • Spurs (8pm)
  • Celtic
  • Carmelita (9pm)
  • Guadalupe (9.15pm)
  • UCR (10pm)
  • (3-1, bet365) – 1pt

    Typical quiet Bolivian game ??⚽️??⚽️??

    8 yellows, 1 red, 1 penalty, 11 corners, 4 goals ?

    Final score 2-2 ✅✅✅
