The Green-and-Whites have won six of their last eight La Liga matches to put themselves firmly in the mix for a European berth.
What's more, it's now just one defeat in 13 for Pellegrini's posse across all competitions, while Alaves arrive in Seville off the back of three straight losses.
Abelardo Fernandez's strugglers are embroiled in a tightly contested Spanish top-flight relegation scrap and their survival hopes may take another hit against red-hot Betis on Monday night.
The money has come for Manuel Pellegrini's men in this fixture and it's therefore a case of having to get creative to get a decent price on a Real Betis win.
I'll dip into the Bet Builder market and combine Real Betis to win and over two Real Betis corners, a nice looking 10/11 shot with Bet 365.
As already alluded to, Betis have won six of their last eight league matches, including four of their last five La Liga assignments.
In fact, Betis' only league defeat since the turn of the year came against in-from Barcelona and that does bode well for an out-of-sorts Alaves team.
The Basque country outfit have lost 13/25 La Liga matches this season – the highest tally in the division – and the confidence-stricken visitors have shipped 10 goals in their last three matches.
With that in mind, I'll happily side with a home win here, but in order to boost up the price I'll also back Betis to hit three or more corners on Monday night.
Real Betis are averaging just under five corners per game this season, while Alaves concede north of five flag kicks per 90 minutes on average, not to mention the highflying hosts have hit three or more corners in each of their last eight La Liga outings.
