After delivering a winner on Saturday, SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Sunday's English League Cup final between Man City and Tottenham.

Man City vs Tottenham (Sunday, 16:30)

Man City and Tottenham will battle it out for the first piece of major silverware of the English domestic season at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

The Citizens quest for an unprecedented quadruple went up in smoke as they were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final at this venue last weekend.

However, Pep Guardiola's star-studded side are still fighting on three fronts and they will be desperate to make amends for last week's defeat by lifting the League Cup.

Tottenham, meanwhile, confirmed on Monday that they had parted ways with manager Jose Mourinho just six days before they aim to end a 13-year wait for silverware.

As such, Spurs are unsurprisingly huge underdogs ahead of this showpiece, but I'm going to swerve the match result market and instead head to Bet 365‘s Bet Builder.

If we combine over zero Man City goals and over one Tottenham card we can get some 4/5 (Bet 365) and that looks like a nice way in.

Man City have made the net bulge in 31 of their last 33 matches, while Spurs' shaky defence have recorded just one clean sheet across their last seven Premier League matches.

In fact, the capital club have conceded at least two goals in three of their last four outings so I'm more than happy to side with at least one City strike at Wembley on Sunday.

In order to boost up the price, I'll throw two or more Tottenham cards into the equation – the Londoners are averaging 1.52 cards per game in the Premier League this season and it's worth noting that they have been cautioned at least twice in six of their last seven top-flight tussles.

What's more, referee Paul Tierney will take charge of this cup final and the Wigan-born whistlers 4.10 card per game average is the highest in the Premier League this season.

With all that in mind, coupled with the likelihood of Man City dominating possession, I'm happy to side with over one Spurs card on Sunday.

It's also worth noting that the above-mentioned combination clicked in the most recent league meeting between these two sides and that only adds to the appeal of supporting the same formula at Wembley this weekend.

Maybe in hindsight corners would have worked. 1 card short for Spurs. City surprisingly got more cards.
