France were widely expected to be contesting Sunday's final, but those hopes were ended by Spain in a 2-0 defeat earlier this week.
England suffered a similar fate, with their hopes of reaching a first World Cup final since 1966 dashed by Argentina in an agonising 2-1 loss.
I have already shared a bet builder for this meeting in Miami, but I am now turning my attention to a player-based selection that catches the eye at the current odds.
Nico O'Reilly has been priced at 5/6 with bet365 to be fouled at least once, and that looks too big to ignore.
O'Reilly is expected to return to the England starting XI on Saturday night, and he has consistently drawn fouls when named in the side at the 2026 World Cup.
The Manchester City man has been brought down in four of the five matches in which he has started at the tournament, including all three of England's knockout ties before he was left on the bench against Argentina last time out.
Further encouragement comes from his figures in the build-up to the tournament, with O'Reilly being fouled four times across England's final three World Cup warm-up matches, including on three occasions against Costa Rica.
He was also upended multiple times in three of his final nine Premier League appearances for Manchester City last season.
The positional factor only adds to the appeal, with O'Reilly likely to operate in similar areas of the pitch to Jules Kounde and Manuel Kone if deployed at left-back, with the French duo averaging 1.40 and 0.90 fouls per game respectively at the World Cup so far.
There is also the possibility that he could be used in central midfield, which would only increase the chances of him earning England at least one free-kick.
With all things considered, backing O'Reilly to be fouled at least once looks a strong value play at 5/6.
