Barcelona will be bidding to make it four La Liga wins on the bounce when they travel to Cadiz on Saturday evening.
After opening their campaign with a 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano, the Catalan club have cruised to three consecutive victories, racking up 10 goals in the process.
In stark contrast, Cadiz have started the season with four straight defeats and no goals, and as a result find themselves propping up the table after four rounds of fixtures.
As such, Barcelona head to southwestern Spain as short-priced 1/4 favourites, however we can boost those odds up to 4/5 (Betfair) by backing the away team to overcome a – 1.5 start on the Asian Handicap.
This selection would deliver a full pay-out if Barcelona triumph by at least two goals and that holds plenty of appeal given the visitors' recent resurgence and red-hot form.
Xavi’s star-studded side have routinely beaten this handicap in recent weeks, with each of their last three league wins coming by a margin of three goals or more.
What’s more, Barcelona will come into this clash buoyed by their 5 -1 victory over Plzen in the Champions League on Wednesday night, not to mention they have a considerable ace up their sleeve in the form of free-scoring Robert Lewandowski.
As for Cadiz, they have made a miserable start to the season, and that can be attributed to the fact that they are leaking goals at an alarming rate.
Sergio’s strugglers have shipped seven strikes across their last two league games against both Celta Vigo and Athletic Bilbao, and it would be fair to say that there will be a huge step up in class here.
With all this in mind, coupled with the fact that Barcelona have overcome this hurdle in each of their last four outings, supporting the same play on Saturday evening stands out at 4/5 (Betfair).
