I'VE posted my top tips and came to the conclusion about many of them after studying team news for matches across Europe.

This type of research also helps me and I hope some of the info influences the decisions you make tonight.

Let's start with Juventus v Cesena and I've tipped the champions minus one and also expect them to win to nil for the eighth successive match.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri's are joint top with Roma and are no bigger than 1-7 at William Hill so backing them on the handicaps and other markets is the only way.

Juve midfielder Arturo Vidal start after coming on as a second-half substitute against AC Milan but defender Martin Caceres and playmaker Andrea Pirlo are out.

Verona lie third with seven points from three games and are 6-5 with William Hill at home to Genoa. The sale of top stars Juan Manuel Iturbe to and Romulo to Juventus hasn't so far hindered Verona but Genoa beat Lazio at the weekend and this will be close.

Rodrigo Palacio is poised to earn his first start of the season when Inter host Atalanta. The Argentina international has only recently recovered from an ankle injury he suffered at the World Cup over the summer. The 32-year-old striker, Inter's top scorer the past couple of seasons, came on as a second-half substitute in the last two league games.

Atalanta travel to the San Siro having suffered their first defeat of the campaign to Fiorentina on Sunday and could find it tough against a side who won their last home match 7-0 against Sassuolo.

Roma will be without veteran midfielder Daniele de Rossi at home to Parma because of a muscular injury. The Italy international was hurt in Sunday's 2-0 win over Cagliari and will be sidelined for at least three weeks. Coach Rudi Garcia is also without Iturbe, Davide Astori, Leandro Castan, Kevin Strootman, Federico Balzaretti and Marco Borriello.

Antonio Cassano will lead Parma's attack against his former club. The 32-year-old striker, who played five seasons at Roma before leaving in 2006, scored a double in Sunday's 3-2 triumph at Chievo.

Torino punched above their weight last season but are struggling to find their feet in the opening weeks of the new Serie A campaign. Giampiero Ventura's men travel to Cagliari looking for a first win of the season.

Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Verona was their second straight loss in the league and dropped them to the foot of the standings. Rivals Cagliari have also endured a disappointing start to the campaign and will be without midfielder Antonio Nocerino but Amauri and Fabio Quagliarella are expected to start.

Palermo could face a Napoli backlash against a side whose boss Rafael Benitez is under pressure after taking three points from three games and exiting the Champions League.

Jose Callejon, Marek Hamsik and Dries Mertens are expected to return after being rested for the defeat to Udinese and with Gonzalo Higuain also back this should be a home win at 4-9 with Betfred.

Promoted Palermo's only league in Naples came back in 1951 so they'll need to make history if they are to win.

Sampdoria are unbeaten with five points after their three games and coach Sinisa Mihajlovic insists his team will be fully focuses on the game with Chieva rather than Sunday's derby against Genoa.

However, he will rest some players while striker Francesco Fedato is expected to make his first appearance of the season, playing alongside Gianluca Sansone and Gonzalo Bergessio in attack.

And so to Spain. Atletico Madrid have conceded five goals in two matches to provoke a debate about their normally solid defence. Atletico are still without striker Mario Mandzukic while the Croat recovers from a broken nose and Cristian Rodriguez is also out with a calf injury.

Almeria will be short of midfielders with Thomas Partey prevented from playing against parent club. Corona is injured and Sebastian Dubarbier suspended.

Barcelona have made a record-breaking start to the season, winning four games without conceding – and it's five if you include their Champions League opener.

Luis Enrique, who replaced Gerardo Martino this summer, couldn't have made a better start and I've tipped them minus one away to Malaga. Barca have won by at least two goals on their last visits.

Villarreal coach Marcelino has hit out at La Liga chiefs for giving his side two days fewer to prepare for tonight's game than their opponents Eibar.

Eibar won 2-0 at Elche last Friday while Villarreal make the trip north after coming from behind to beat Rayo Vallecano 4-2 on Sunday. Marcelino will rotate his squad with a home match coming up against Real Madrid and that's worth noting for a tricky trip.

Granada are on my Top Treble but coach Joaquin Caparros says tonight's game against his former club Levante will be his side's toughest test yet.

The Andalusians are one of six sides still unbeaten in La Liga and sit sixth while Levante have fallen on hard times under Caparros' successor Jose Luis Mendilibar.

They prop up the table after being hammered 5-0 by Barcelona on Sunday and still haven't scored. It's the riskiest team on my treble but I like Granada at 4-7 with the likes of William Hill and Ladbrokes.

In Germany, Stuttgart director of sport Fredi Bobic insists he will not step down despite a wave of criticism from fans following a 2-0 defeat to Hoffenheim on Saturday. The result leaves Stuttgart rooted to the foot of the table with just one goal and one point and it can only get tougher at Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund have started with two wins and two defeats and striker Henrikh Mkhitaryan's name has been added to the growing list of injured players and while that's a worry they should have enough to take care of a struggling Stuttgart.

Cologne goalkeeper Timo Horn is out to extend his proud Bundesliga record at Hannover. The 21-year-old hasn't conceded a goal in 630 minutes and the five clean sheets mean his men remain unbeaten ahead of a tough visit.

Bayer boss Roger Schmidt wants his side to get back to winning ways at home to Augsburg. Defeat in the Champions League in Monaco and a 4-1 loss at Wolfsburg has seen them lose their way after five consecutive wins at the start of the season.

Schmidt has ruled out a return of the injured Omer Toprak but Stefan Kiessling is set to return after he was rested on Saturday.

In France, Lille are the only unbeaten side in Ligue 1 this season with three wins and as many draws but they visit Nice tonight for their 12th match of the campaign complaining about tiredness.

Lille will be without captain Rio Mavuba due to a hamstring injury that will keep him out for between three and four weeks while his fellow midfielder Marvin Martin is banned.

Monaco have recorded back-to-back victories last week and hope their resurgence continues against Montpellier. The principality side lost three of their first five Ligue 1 matches but look back on track and of course defeated Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Anthony Martial is out after suffering concussion against Guingamp so Dimitar Berbatov is likely to play as the lone striker.

Laurent Blanc takes champions Paris St Germain to Caen on Wednesday knowing a win is needed to avoid further speculation about his future. Pressure has been mounting on Blanc after a poor start to their Ligue 1 campaign including two straight draws at Rennes and at home to Lyon

Talismanic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose form has mirrored his side's sluggish start to the season, has been ruled out of the trip to Caen with an ankle problem but PSG should have enough to edge this one.

My top tips are on the usual post but I hope some of this info helps when making your selections.

FF, hope it helps – amazing the number of teams who will make changes tonight and that’s not even looking at the English League Cup.

    I’ve got a couple on.

City, Juve, Napoli, and Barca all -1 handicap @ 9/1

Roma and Nottingham Forrest Double Chance @ 5/1

Roma, Granada, and Dortmund @ 5/1.

Worried about Roma now after reading this preview!

Last night got Southampton Double Chance, Real -2, Bayern -1.

Only Werder Bremen let me down for big wins on these two:

Southampton, Middlesbrough Double Chance, Bremen v Schalke BTTS

Real win BTTS, Empoli v Milan over 2.5 goals, Liverpool v Boro BTTS, Bremen v Schalke BTTS

Hoping for a win again tonight.

Big fan of the tips and analysis.

Marco, good luck with those. I sense a great night or one of acute disappointment – it’s why level stakes should always be used.

It’s extremely difficult not to get greedy!

Marco, it’s easy really. Always do level stakes and stick mainly to singles, doubles and trebles.
