The Scottish Play-Off second legs are massive games for all involved. KevMac takes a look at the likely winners and losers in a night that promises some drama.
Morton v Montrose
MORTON face a fight to stay in the Championship as they trail 2-1 heading into tonight’s play-off return with Montrose.
Going for goals in that game paid off for me at the weekend, with both teams to score and over 2.5 strikes coming up.
Montrose have drawn just one blank in their last seven and even scored at Premiership Killie in the Cup so I fancy BTTS again at 4/5 with McBookie.
If you double that with over 2.5 goals in a McBookie bet builder the odds increase to 110/100.
Airdrieonians v Cove Rangers
The other tie is on a knife-edge with Cove and Airdrie locked at 1-1 after the first leg up north.
Callum Gallagher has four goals in his last eight for the Diamonds and is a decent 13/5 with Paddy Power for anytime scorer.
Veteran Paul Paton has three yellows in seven games since joining Airdrie and is 2/1 at McBookie to be carded.
Edinburgh v Elgin City
Edinburgh City have one foot in the League One final after a 1-0 win at Elgin.
They have won their last five against Elgin, conceding just one goal, so I’m betting against BTTS tonight at 23/20 (McBookie).
Dumbarton v Stranraer
The other clash between Dumbarton and Stranraer is in the balance after a 0-0 stalemate but I fancy the Sons (10/11, McBookie) to win back at the Rock.
There are two games in England’s top flight and a BTTS double in Man United v Leicester and Southampton v Palace pays 257/100 (SportNation).
Super singles
- Paul Paton to be carded (2/1, McBookie)
- BTTS no at Edinburgh (23/20, McBookie)
McBookie star bet
- It could be cagey in Dumbarton and backing most goals to come after the break pays 11/10.
