DUNFERMLINE are the only unbeaten team in the leagues in Scotland and England and they can continue their recent excellent form with a win at Montrose at a decent price of 29/20.
The Pars cruised to a midweek win at Clyde and are clear at the top of League One. They've now won three wins in a row over Alloa, FC Edinburgh and the Bully Wee without conceding a goal.
There's no doubt Links Park is one of the hardest venues to go and get a result in this league and Stewart Petrie continues to do a terrific job with the Angus outfit, But they've lost recently to two of the teams Dunfermline have defeated – Alloa and FC Edinburgh – and James McPake's side look stronger with the likes of Matthew Todd and Craig Wighton in fine form.
And they can consolidate their position at the top of the league with a win.
ALLOA ATHLETIC have been flying under the radar somewhat in League One and they look like a cracking bet to pile on the agony to Peterhead at 6/5.
Brian Rice's side have produced some eye-catching results this season and they did it again last weekend when they beat Airdrie at home.
They also beat Montrose and scored four goals at Clyde, but arguably their best performance of the season was a 5-0 thrashing of Peterhead at the Indodrill back in August, although they had a midweek setback when they lost at improving Falkirk.
The Wasps have a fair chunk of experience in their team with the likes of Stefan Scougall and Conor Sammon and they look a stand-out price against Jim McInally's team, who have won just once this season against Kelty Hearts but have recently reverted back to type with three defeats in a row without a goal being scored.
ARBROATH have been a massive disappointment this season after last week's heroics, but their squad is too good to be battling relegation and they won't get a better chance of getting back on track than when they face Hamilton Accies.
Accies stunned Inverness in midweek after their brutal display in Greenock the previous week and that result sent Arbroath spinning to the bottom of the league.
So Dick Campbell will have it drummed into his men what this game means to them when they host John Rankin's men.
The Red Lichties appear to have improved recently with a pair of encouraging draws against Dundee and at Queen's Park and look a great price at 11/10 to continue their recent upwards curve.
Scottish Football Tips:
- Dunfermline 29/20
- Alloa 6/5
- Arbroath11/10.
